The softness of my humming filled the silence in the longhouse, the sun just barely peaking over the hills and trees. My warm smile never leaving my face while I held my son in my arms humming a tune that was different from the lullaby my mother sang to me as a child but Nicolas seem to enjoy this song while he slept peacefully in my arms.

I looked out the window from my room seeing the sun started to shine on the river; thinking about Cent once more, I sighed for a moment before standing up I gently grabbed a bag placing it on the bed before placing Nicolas in his crib as he slept; gathering the necessary things for the journey to Cent for Nicolas and myself I know I should stay here and wait but not knowing what is happening over there I grew worried not knowing what is happening. Once packed I gently picked up Nicolas from his crib making sure he was safe and secured within my arms and his blanket before leaving a note for Randvi telling her where I would be going and why, sneaking to the horse stables I took a readied horse out and getting on it without waking Nicolas up and started riding off towards Cent.

It may have taken me hours to ride there but it was enjoyable to ride and enjoy the wild with my son to keep me company; stopping to take care of him for a few minutes and resting since my strength was still low and the stitching still a bit fresh but I didn't let it stop me when the day turned to night fall once again in a flash when I finally reached Cent; softly walking the horse through the paths of the dirt road I wanted to try and figure out where Eivor might be that was until I saw a glimpse of Synin flying towards me landing on my shoulder.

"Hello Synin" I greeted the raven with a smile.

The raven chirped at me before eyeing the small little bundle in my left arm which made me chuckled at the birds confused look.

"Synin do you know where Eivor is?" I asked which brought the raven's attention back to me.

Flying off of my shoulder I watched the raven fly off which made me follow it through the woods gently walking through the trees; hearing voices coming closer and closer until the sight of a camp came to my view seeing Eivor and Basim sitting by a fire talking to each other; gently I got down from my horse watching them in the shadows.

"So there's nowhere you call home?" Eivor asked Basim he must have been asking more about the hidden ones.

"No place I call home" Basim answered back.

"Weird" Eivor spoke which lead them both to chuckle.

"For me home is family, but I have no family" Basim said with a small smile but it left for a moment, the way he said it and the way he looked made me feel like he did have a family once.

"No one? Not even Hyham?" Eivor asked wondering if he considered Hytham as family even if a little bit.

"Parents, brothers all dead" Basim said simply.

"I and Arnora lost our parents when we were nine winters along, when I was told no one was able to find her I started hating life and the world without Sigurd I would've.....would've" eivor spoke about our parents being lost to us, but I never knew he felt like that when he thought he lost me forever.

"There is always one unbreakable bond....." Basim said speaking a truth that is real since Eivor and Sigurd were so close after these years that have passed.

"Children, they bewilder you; they can cause you so much worry fill you with joy, even stop your heart and if you're lucky they replace you" Basim began to speak about children which made me look back at Nicolas who fell asleep a few minute ago from my rocking back and forth.
