Assassin's Creed Valhalla: The Forgotten Love

50 [Everything Else]

"I do not give you leave to go" was the voice that whispered to us all as the world turned black around us.

I suddenly woke up from blacking out letting my visions come to see a world of darkness with nothing but ankle deep water surrounding me everywhere, standing up I looked around looking for Eivor or Sigurd; the voice that spoke out before I blacked out was Odin's voice I would know that voice anywhere that I would go, I clenched my hands together wanting to be done with him since he has done nothing but plague my brother's mind with thought's that we're his own. Hearing a loud thunder crash I turned to my right and started running towards the sound.

Letting the sound grow I saw flashes ahead of me knowing who that might be I tried to run faster as I could see Eivor fighting Odin or trying to fight Odin who was to powerful and to fast for Eivor to land a hit on. Seeing Odin ready to strike again behind Eivor I thought quickly and flashed to his side, blocking Odin's attack with my short sword, the clash brought Eivor's attention to us as I held my ground against Odin.

"You have interfered for the last time Hel!" he shouted as he pushed me backward letting Eivor catch me before I fell over.

"You've been interfering with Eivor to long, its time to end that!" I shouted back as me and Eivor held our weapons in our hands ready to fight.

"You may be a god still, but you both can't defeat me" he claimed as he held his spear in his hands.

Both me and Eivor charged at him ready to take him down for good, but with each swing we would miss with each step he would be faster and striking at us from other sides; I growled as I was pushed back once again. We needed to end this soon and return to our world again no matter what, we charged once more but Odin summoned a lighting bolt again making us land on the ground hard.

"Eivor, Arnora stand" the voice of Sigurd called out to us.

Looking up I could see Sigurd standing there in a large door with stairs leading somewhere I didn't know; but I was relieved he was alive still. Standing up I rushed over to Eivor; I grabbed his hand and pulled him back on his feet, letting us both start running towards Sigurd.

Running towards Sigurd I reached out my hand as he held out his for me, our hands almost touched but suddenly I was pulled  back along with Eivor by our weapons.

"Arnora!!" Sigurd called out as Odin pulled me and Eivor back to start fighting him once again.

But as I stood up dodging a blow from Odin's spear I glanced down at my sword before looking at Eivor who looked at me.

"The weapons!!" I shouted out towards Eivor who nod knowing what I meant.

We both put our weapons away and began to run back towards Sigurd and other's that showed up at the door as well to help us.

"What are you doing? Take up your axe and sword!!" Odin was not pleased by this as we ignored him and rushed over to the others.

We reached the others as Sigurd grabbed my hand tightly pulling me close to me to protect me from Odin as Eivor joined our side with the other's around us.

"Take up your axe and sword!!" Odin shouted out to us both again kicking out weapons we dropped on the ground.

But we ignored him still as he suddenly charge at us ready to attack, but Eivor brought out his hidden blade turning around and slashing at Odin as he fell backwards from the impact of the attack.

"Coward of Cowards!!" he shouted as he slammed his spear at the ground letting thunder flash and the ground shake having us all separate from the impact.

We slowly got up from the ground as Sigurd came to my side helping to stand as Hytham came over to Eivor helping him stand as he headed for the doors again trying to escape.

"Beggar's bastard! Stand and face me you feeble-armed thralls!!" he shouted as lighting boomed into the dark sky above us as our friends tried to help us as they took the lighting hits for us.

Pausing for a moment I looked back at Odin as he struggled a bit to keep standing, Eivor looked at me and looked back at Odin; my hand slowly let go of Sigurd's as I walked towards Odin knowing he couldn't do more to us for he was growing weaker by the second of Eivor not acknowledging him.

Odin saw my feet in front of him as he looked up at me seeing my serious look but yet sort of sad as well; he was once a great and power man we all called All Father, he may have ripped my family apart, killed my little brother and killed most of my people but I still held respect for him.

"Fighting isn't always about glory, its a test of strength and will for those who would fight to protect the people they loved" I spoke to him knowing he was always about glory when it came to fighting.

"You of all people should know, that is not the world we live" he said as he slowly stood up in front of me.

"I know it isn't but it should be.....father and mother are the light of that hope" I said before I looked back behind me seeing my parents standing in the doorways with our friends behind them.

They held their hands out towards me and Eivor, walking away from Odin I walked towards my parents as Eivor did the same. Walking close to them they wrapped their arms around us as Eivor and I wrapped our arms around them, letting a tear fall from my eye as I held my parents close to me once more for the final time wishing they were hear now. They looked at us both with warm smiles on their faces seeing them proud of us both with how we have come so far in this life.

I looked towards Sigurd who smiled warmly at me knowing I was happy to see my parents once more; I let go of my parents as I took Sigurd's hand in mine as he placed his forehead against mine letting me smile warmly at him knowing things were going to be alight. As the others slowly started to leave up the stairs, Eivor was about to join us but his arm was grabbed making us look back seeing Odin standing there.

"Leave me now and you have nothing, with me....you have wisdom, glory, power!! What more do you need!?" he spoke out of desperation as he listed all the things a warrior would want with a god like him.

Eivor looked down at the ground for a moment thinking about a good answer to give him as our parents held out their hands to him once more knowing what his answer would be.

"Everything else" he answered back as he looked at Odin dead in the eye.

That answer seem to finally send him away to who knows where in this dream world; as Eivor turned back towards us letting us all finally walk up the stairs to escape this place once and for all to return back home to our family and loved once who are waiting for us all back in Engalnd.
