Macy's POV

~

Bringing the mug in my hands up to my lips, I take a slow sip of my hot coffee. My eyes move back up to the girl in front of me and I see her watching me unsubtly. I gulp as I place my cup on the table between us.

"So... How exactly can you... help me?" I ask her hesitantly. I introduced myself properly only a moment ago, telling her my name after our more than interesting meeting. I ordered a fresh cup of coffee for myself just a second ago as well.

Raine leans back into her seat, gazing across the table at me lazily. This girl is hands-down one of the most beautiful women I have seen in my life. "I'm gay and I know a few girls that would be more than happy to take you out." Her eyes roll over me slowly, her lip curling up. "They would find you... desirable, to say the least."

I feel my cheeks redden as I look down at the table. "Oh... Okay."

She leans forward in her seat and lowers her head slightly until her eyes meet mine again. "Are you free tonight?" Gulping, I nod slowly, not answering verbally. "Good. How about you and I go out and get to know each other better? If you're up for it, I'll introduce you to a couple of my friends that would be more than interested." She watches my reaction to her suggestion carefully. I process her words, slowly nodding my head with a small thinking pout on my lips.

"Okay. I think I'm up for that."

She stares at me a moment longer. "You did just get out of a long term relationship, don't rush into anything if you're not ready for it."

I shake my head quickly. "No, I am. That relationship ended a little while ago to be honest – both of us knew it. But we had been together for so long, I didn't know anything else. For the past few months, we've mostly just been acting like friends anyway."

Her lips quirk up a little and she nods her head. "Alright then. Give me your phone."

I don't question her, unlocking my phone and handing it over to her. She types her number into my contacts and then hands it back to me as she stands up from her seat. "Text me so that I have your number and I'll send you the address to meet us at. Okay?" I nod, looking up at her with wide eyes. She grins. "Bye, Macy."

I smooth my hands over the material of my dress, as I walk from the uber I caught here, heading towards the club across the street. This is the address Raine texted me to meet her and her friends at. The club looks to be relatively busy, but there isn't a huge line outside. I manage to get in pretty easily and start making my way towards the bar. The little pink dress I have on isn't skin tight, but it definitely hugs my curves and I can't help but feel a little nervous. Sophie said I looked great before I left the house, and I trust her opinion.
