Raine's POV

~

So, here's the thing. My original plan was simple.

Step one: Introduce Macy to the wonderful world of women. This includes introducing her to my friends. At some point during this step I expected her to make out with one of them or something.

Step two: Spend more time with her. Even if she started hooking up with another girl or multiple girls, I would spend more time with her when she was free. Get to know her and stuff.

Step three: Flirting. Little touches and soft words. Nothing that would cross the line from friends to more, but enough to get her curious.

Step four: Make a move. When I'm sure she's taken an interest in me, I make my move. By that point, she would know for sure that she was into women and would preferably be into me specifically.

Step five: Ask her out and live happily ever after.

See? Simple.

But then she started talking about how she was attracted to my aura and how her soul felt drawn to mine and how she needed to kiss me and I caved. I kissed her and fúcking hell. I'm done. I'm tapping out. Because there is no way that this girl who I met less than twelve hours ago can make me feel so intensely so soon.

It wasn't a part of the plan. It wasn't supposed to happen like that. But the minute her lips touched mine, I knew I was a goner. Something about her is insanely addicting and I can't seem to get enough.

It's a short, lingering kiss that we share, but it's enough to get me hooked. Not even two seconds after we separate, the girls find us and join us in the booth. They start chattering away, oblivious to what just went on between Macy and I. I'm still sitting on her lap and I'm not at all mad about it. My arms are around her and hers are around me. We fit perfectly together like this, and I never want to leave.

I quickly realise that Fen, Alana, and Clem are pretty wasted and it's about time they head home. Macy seems to notice as well, so the two of us work together to usher them out of the club. I call them an Uber and pay the guy when he arrives, letting him know where each of them needs to go. Once I know that they've headed home safely, I turn back to Macy. She's staring down at her heels, looking a little nervous and uncertain. A little smirk quirks up my lips as I walk over to her. I'm about an inch shorter than her, so I don't have to look up very far to meet her eyes. "Did you drive here, chica?"

She nods, nodding towards the parking lot. "I'm just over there."

"You sure you can drive?"

She nods again, "I've mostly been drinking water and I only had a couple drinks. I'm under the limit."

"Good. You mind giving me a lift home?"

The drive to my apartment is quiet, with only the radio playing softly in the background to fill the silence. It's not uncomfortable though. In fact, I feel very at peace for the short drive. We pull up outside my apartment building too soon and I hold back a sigh. I look over at Macy and she doesn't meet my gaze. With a little smile, I lean over and gently cup her jaw, turning her face towards me. Her bright turquoise eyes land on me and I feel like the breath has been knocked out of me. She's so unbelievably gorgeous.

"I want to see you again soon." I tell her honestly, speaking quietly across the short distance between us.

"How soon?" She asks softly and the question is so innocent, but it makes me grin.
