Friday was here and Jessica was on her way over. Maddie had just left to get her hair done and Alan was with Wayne and Stevie. My dad had a case to go settle and my mom was at the grocery store with Sammie. So yes that just leaves me here to witness the arrival of Queen J herself. I was still sitting on the porch enjoying the nice summer breeze when her black Toyota Prius pulled in front of the house. She took her time getting out of the car, I guess to seem important. She walked toward the porch with her swinging hips and unapologetic smirk. I swear she made my bones ache.
"Sis." She said greeting me.
"Not your sis." I say in response.
"Where's daddy?" She asked after noticing his car not here.
"Work." I answer.
"Who's home?"
"Why don't you go check and stop asking all these questions." I told her.
She walked into the house and stopped immediately looking at the color of the sitting room furniture.
"You guys redecorated without me?" She asked dramatically holding her chest.
"You don't live here." I say walking past here going upstairs. She went into her room I suppose. But moments later she busted into my room like a mad person.
"Someone was in my room while I was gone."
"No."
"I wasn't asking I know someone was. I bet it was that little Samantha."
"Don't blame her! Why would she want to be in your room?"
"Messing with my Mabeline New York Rose Pink eye shadow palette."
"She's 7 Jessica."
"I was 7 when I started to get into make up." She admitted.
"I'm sure you were."
"Whatever. Keep little miss orphanage out of my room.... capish?"
"Get out." I demand. And she swirls out of the door. I really couldn't stand Jessica she thought she was better than everyone and boy I couldn't wait to take her down from her throne.
Moments later I heard her loud voice
On the phone down stairs. I guess she was talking to one of her boyfriends. So I went to eavesdrop.
"I hate being here." She told the person on the phone.
"I don't know? My mom always forces me over here. My dad is barely here and I know my "step mommy" and her annoying kids don't like me. I don't belong with this to good ass family.... when are you coming to get me Hayden? Ok." Then she hung up, I sprung up to my room and closed the door. I couldn't belive that Queen J felt that way about us.
