It's been a few weeks since what happened at the party. I got out of the hospital last week and so did Jeremy, but he's on crutches for a month. He's been over here with me a lot though because we are the only ones that know what actually happened and we try all day and night to find more stuff. No one is able to get into contact with Jessica's mother and it's been weeks now. I couldn't believe she didn't care that she hadn't heard from her daughter in weeks. Jeremy and I were sitting in the living room. Samantha was at school and so was Alan. My mom and dad were at the police station, they've been there a lot lately.
"So." He starts off
"I just keep seeing her screaming and kicking, I feel like I could have did more...." I say trailing off with tears in my eyes
"No Bailey we tried and I know you feel like this is your fault but there was nothing we could have done."
"We shouldn't have let her go out into that alley."
"I know.... I should have went."
"I just miss her so much." I started sobbing, tears pouring out of my eyes like a waterfall.
"Don't cry Bailey they'll be here before you know it.... maybe we should talk to Ethan, it was his party you know."
"You don't think the police have already done that he doesn't know anything."
"Or he doesn't wanna talk, it was his party and he knows somthing."
"But I mean you can't walk and I'm surely not going by myself."
"That's true."
"But I mean come on Jeremy you have to remember what those guys looked like or something.....I think it might of been that old creepy guy be that talked to us that day." I said reminiscing.
"I don't think it was that guy because the guys I seen her leave with were younger. Like maybe 20 to 24. The guys were dressed a little off, like you know in black and they were walking around the party like they were observing people. Actually you know what!?" He blurted sitting up with a heavy stare in his eyes.
"What....your creeping me out."
"I spoke with one of those guys... I remember now Bailey!"
"What really?!"
"Yeah, he was the younger one. God I can't belive I forgot about that!"
"Well we got to get the story to the police!" I yelled pulling out my phone.
"Mom are you still at the station? Jeremy has more information on what happened." The police came twenty minutes later. Jeremy started talking
"The guy told me he was here with his brothers, he said that he was 19 and that he wasn't having fun. Some how one of his brothers knew Ethan Allen and that's how they came. I-I belive there is something Ethan isn't telling you that can help you find the girls. The guy said they were leaving soon and they were going to get a few girls to go with them, I just thought they were being funny you know? He didn't seem suspicious at all....even when I saw Jessica leaving with those guys he wasn't one of them."
"We need you to go give a full description of the gut you saw to that officer over there." The man pointed across the stations. Jeremy rose holding his crutches and hopping his way over to the man.
"Doesn't this mean you can find them?" I asked.
"I-I don't know....Maybe....I do know that we have to talk to Ethan Allen again and this time force him to tell us what he knows."
"This is a horrible nightmare!" My mom said.
"It's okay we'll find them." My dad said reassuring her.
I hoped that he was right. I didn't like knowing that my best friend and half sister were somewhere else than home safe and sound.
