So Danny never came and got Jessica sadly and after our little confrontation we didn't talk that much more that day. Samantha wanted me to take her to the park today and I had agreed to take her. Jessica was in the living room and Alan was in his room playing video games. My mom and dad were in the kitchen as usual having morning coffee. It wasn't that early though around 2pm. I was heading to the park with Sammie.

"Taking Samanta to the park?" My dad asked.

"Yes be back soon." I said holding Samantha's hand and going out the door. The park wasn't that far away, just a few blocks away.

"Don't you love the park Bailey?" She asked me smiling.

"Yes but I love taking you with me even more." I told her.

"Can we get ice cream?" She asked spotting the ice cream truck.

"Sure." We made our way toward the ice cream truck. There was a guy in front of us. He looked familiar to me yet I never really payed much attention to people.

"Oh hey, Bailey right?" He asked confirming that we knew each other.

"Ohh Jeremy? Nice to see you. How have you been?"

"Just waiting for college you know," He said laughing, "How about you?

"I'm fine you know just trying to stay out of trouble. This is my little sister Samantha by the way."

"Oh hi little cutey," he says to her, "So you guys want me to buy you ice cream?"

"Oh no its fine I got it."

"No way let me be a gentleman I got it." He insisted so I let him. I got vanilla and so did Sammie.

"Thanks." I say.

"So where are you going?" He asked.

"Taking her to the park."

"Oh nice..."

"You're welcome to come....."

"Oh cool thanks."

"No problem." He came to the park with us and I actually enjoyed his company. I graduated with Jeremy and back in high school he wasn't the nicest boy, not like he was the jock or anything but he was friends with those boys and they were mean.

"So how's Jessie?" He asks surprisingly.

"She's still Jessie." I say smiling.

"Man I couldn't believe how obsessed I was over her."

"I can't either."

"Well I mean everyone was so don't be embarrassed." I say.

"What college do you want to go to?"

"UCLA or University of Miami."

"Oohh who would of thought you would be a beach girl."

"I'm not really though I do love the beach, I just love the weather and the friendly people. I've been going to Miami my whole life."

"That's cool. I would like to go to Yale." He admitted.

"My parents are killing themselves trying to get me in there."

"Why won't you just spare their lives and go?"

"No thanks."

"......Your pretty cool you know that Bailey?"

"I guess I do now, but thanks not so bad yourself Jeremy."

"Well here take my number we should hang out sometimes." He says giving me his number.

Shortly after he left and it was getting pretty late so I decided to take Sammie home. Alan was gone with his friends as usual and my mom and dad were in their room. Jessica called me to the living room with her.

"What Jessica?"
"There's this party later... I'm inviting you and your friend Marcella as my plus 2."

"Her name is Madalyn and why?"

"You two need a social life and I think it would be nice for us."

"What time?"

"7pm."

"Why do I feel like this is a set up or something?" I asked.

"Look sis," she starts off getting up from the couch and walking toward me, "I'm being sincere, honestly and I think you should get time to go out and enjoy yourself.... I know we don't get along and we have a horrible relationship as sisters but this can only work if we both try." I stared at her really hard, analyzing her emotions and expressions. I felt it was her actually being sincere so I gave in hoping I was making the right decision.

"Alright fine.... thanks." I go up to my room and call Maddie to let her know, she was skeptical at first just like me, but then she got really excited. I grabbed out an outfit to wear hoping that it would be the right choice for this kind of party.
