Samantha is a angel, she didn't say much at all when she first got here. She didn't like to be around anyone and at first she shared rooms with me but we had to end up giving her the room we used for storage. It was a regular bedroom but we just kept our junk in it. After she had gotten that room she hardly came out and she hardly let anyone in. Samantha's mother died giving birth to her and her father never knew she existed. She has been in foster care her entire life and never had a real family to love her and teach her. I always wondered why her mom's family never got her, but my mom and dad learned that Samantha's mom was the only child and her parents were killed in a fire. So she had nobody technically speaking. From the time she got here until she turned 5 she hadn't realized that we were her family and we would take care of her. I remember it was her 6th birthday party and we had rented out a small arcade center and invited some of the kids from her kindergarten class. She was having so much fun, the most fun I've ever seen her have ever. Then she asked me to go into the photo booth with her and we took awesome pictures. I have them to this day and she has hers as well. she is really comfortable now with us and she never stops talking but I think that's good for her since she never had anyone to talk too.
