Bailey Holis: A Girl's World ♡

The Day After .

I woke up in the hospital with blood everywhere. I tried to sit up and look around but my shoulder ached miserably. All I could see and hear was my mom. She was standing right in front of my bed talking to a nurse.

"Oh look she's awake." She said coming toward me calming down.

"What's going on." Then I think immediately about Jeremy. "W-where is Jeremy?" I ask

"Im over here Bailey." I hear him say then I spot him across the room with his leg wrapped in a cast.

"Sweet heart you were shot and the police need you to give them information."

"Where's dad?"

"He's out there with the officers, I'm going to let them know you're ready." She said jogging out of the room.

"Do they know about Jessica and Maddie?" I asked with tears on my cheeks.

"No but we have to tell them." A few seconds later three officers and my parents walked in.

"Alright Bailey now you need to tell us everything you know." One officer stated.

"Ummm, okay-", I start off trying to sit up, " I went to this party with my half sister Jessica and my best friend Madaly-" I was cut off when Mr. And Mrs.Waller came in the room (Madalyn's parents) I felt the tears falling from my eyes as I stared at Mrs.Waller distraught face.

"Bailey where is Madalyn? She didn't come home last night. I thought maybe she spent the night at your house after the party." She says

"Excuse me Ma'am but this young lady is trying to give us information please wait there quietly."

"Okay umm so yeah I went to this party with my half sister Jessica and my best friend Madalyn. We just sat on the couch you know not really conversationing with anyone and that's when Jeremy spotted us and he came to join us but only for awhile. Jessica wasn't with us at the time and after a few hours I went to look for her and couldn't find her in the house so I called her.... she told me she wasn't at the party anymore and that she didn't know where she was. Then, I heard her screaming.... and some guy grabbed the phone and told me she was dead."

"Omg!" My dad screamed

"So I ran back to Maddie to tell her that I think Jessica was kidnapped.... We went to ask Jeremy if he had seen her and he confirmed that he'd seen her leaving with three guys but she was really drunk. We went out back to see if maybe she was there by any chance and Maddie suggested looking in the alley so me and Jeremy waited by the fence while she checked. Suddenly some huge black van sped into the alley and four guys hoped out and tried to grab Madalyn, me and Jeremy bolted out of the yard and fought the guys off until one of them started shooting. I was hit as you can see and so was Jeremy. But.... they got away with Madalyn." I ended my story looking at Mrs.Waller who was buried in her hands sobbing horribly.

"Did you see any of the guys faces?" One of the officers asked

"No it was dark and I was only concerned with getting Maddie." I admitted

"Alright that's enough for now. We'll be talking to this gentleman over here." They say walking toward Jeremy.

"Mr. And Mrs.Waller I am so sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen."

"Your a good friend Bailey, it's alright we'll find her."

"It's not alright Michael! Our 18 year old daughter is missing! You shouldn't have ever inviting her to that party!" She said pointing at me.

"Hey! Sandra calm down my daughter is missing too!" My dad yelled

"Everyone just needs to relax the girls will be found and brought home safely and soon." My mom jumped in. I couldn't belive that this was happening all I could think about was Maddie and Jessica.....
