I texted Madalyn right after I got home.

"Hey Maddie it's me thank you for telling me what you saw that day I really appreciated it. But I need a favor can you give me a call?" About an hour later she called me and I was excited to talk to her it felt like it's been forever.

"Hey Bailey you needed something?"

"Yeah....I um want you to come with me and Jeremy to this restaurant tomorrow evening."

"That's pretty awkward why?"

"Because he's inviting Journee....Meredith from high school...remember?"

"Woah is that who I saw him with yesterday?"

"Yes but it's cool he's not with her....."

"So your scared to be there with them by yourself?"

"Kind of....please?"

"Sure that's cool, I've been having some words to say that bitch since before she left."

"Be nice Madalyn."

"No promises but see you tomorrow, I'll meet you at your house so we can get ready together."

"That sounds awesome see you."

    It was time to start getting ready for the dinner. I was wearing my nice short fluffy black lace dress with some 5in blue pumps. I curled my hair and pinned the sides up. I let my mom do my make up because she was awesome at it. Madalyn rang the doorbell and she was holding her dress and shoes. Her hair was really wavy and she had on a natural shade of makeup. I really thought she looked nice. I hugged her tightly.

"I miss you so much Madalyn....."

"I'm sorry Bailey I've been acting an ass but you've got to understand why...."

"Maddie we've always been each other's personal therapists....."

"But I felt like this wasn't something that you would understand and Jessica experienced this with me and I felt she knew more..."

"So just because I didn't get kidnapped with you and Jessica we can't be friends anymore.....that's insane Madalyn."

"..........No Bailey it was a mistake alright.....I'm back anyways."

"......What really happened?"

"Jessica stopped calling.........."

"That's what you get!" I said smirking.

"I love you Bailey.....Best friends forever?" She asked holding her arms out for a hug.

"Yeah unless you decide to get kidnap again and trade on me."

"No won't happen again."

Then yes BFF's!" I yelled hugging her.

"Wow friends united! You're welcome Bailey she was becoming annoying." Jessica said coming down the stairs.

"Well she wasn't meant for you.....she's my best friend." I say.

"Let's just finish getting ready Bailey."

"Alright." I happily agreed.  We were done getting ready and my mom had to take pictures like it was prom all over again. Jessica had a little jealous smirk on her face which made this even better.

"Alright ladies Jeremy's here." My mom called to us and we came down the stairs. We went to the car and surprisingly Journee wasn't in there.

"Where's Journee?" I asked getting inside the car.
