Hogwarts Will Always be There To Welcome You Home

Serenity's PoV - 7th year

Serenity ran through the border or Platform 9 3/4. She saw the black engine of the Hogwarts Express and anxiously traveled through the train until she saw the Weasley twins sitting alone in a car.

Her father had dropped her and her sister off outside the train station and them Disapparated to outside the Hogwarts gates.

She hastily got into the car and stuffed her bags into the compartment. She set her coal black owl, Mist, down on the floor. She was asleep in her cage.

"How's your holiday been?" Serenity asked as she sat down across from them.

"To answer that question, look at these," Fred said while pulling a bag out of his trunk.

"Puking Pastilles, Nosebleed Nougat, and the Skiving Snackbox," said George.

"All invented by us,"

"And for sale in our store in Diagon Alley."

"You guys have a store?" Charity asked as she barged into the car.

"Indeed, we do," said Fred with a smirk.

"That's pretty cool," said Charity while she jammed her bags into the compartment.

Charity sat down opposite Fred and pulled out her wand. "I wonder who the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher is," Charity said while levitating Fred's bag of Puking Pastilles.

"Hey! Those took us months to develop!" Fred said as he snatched the bag out of the air.

Charity was clutching her stomach laughing while George and Serenity were trying not to crack up. After Fred had returned everything to where it belonged, Charity had finally managed to pull herself together and stop laughing.

"Anything from the trolley, dears?" a woman called while pushing a trolley full of sweets down the aisle. Fred dug a few coins out of his bag along with a Nosebleed Nougat. Charity and Serenity shared nervous glances.

"Four pumpkin pasties, please," Fred said as he slipped a Nosebleed Nougat into one of the jars. The woman gave him the sweets in exchange for his money and continued down the line. Fred threw a pasty at everyone and slammed the door of the car shut.

"Good one, Fred!" George exclaimed as he ate his food. "She didn't even notice!"

"What if a first year gets that Nosebleed Nougat, Fred?" Serenity asked. "They'll think Hogwarts is unsafe."

"I'm sure word will get to them that we're the school jokesters soon enough," George said with a wink. Serenity rolled her eyes. She started to eat the pumpkin pasty Fred had bought them.

"We better get changed into our robes," she said finally. She opened her trunk and pulled out her robes and wand. She headed to the bathroom and quickly changed out of her muggle clothes. When she got back into the car, only George had returned. She locked the door and muttered, 'Muffliato' into her wand.

"Did your dad or Lupin tell you anything more about what was going on with the Order?" Serenity asked in a whisper.

The Order of the Pheonix was a secret organization formed 15 years ago to defeat Lord Voldemort. Many of the original members had died or been tortured into insanity. Dumbledore had formed it. Fred and George's parents were in it as well as Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Sirius Black, Severus Snape, and a few others.

George shook his head sadly. "Mum has been keeping close to us for days. She wouldn't let him anywhere near us to tell us anything more."

The Weasley twins still didn't know that Snape was their father. George and Fred had told them everything they knew about the Order, but their father had told them information as well.

At that moment, the train lurched to a stop and the students exited the train. George and Serenity met up with Fred and Charity and they got onto the carriage together.

After a few minutes of talking and laughing at Fred and George's jokes, they pulled up to the school. Fred and George got off first and held out their hands to Charity and Serenity. Serenity rolled her eyes and laughed, but willingly grabbed George's hand. She jumped of the carriage and the four walked into the dining hall together.

They sat in the great hall together and anxiously awaited the first years to be sorted. A few clumsy-looking first years got sorted into each house and then food appeared on plates in front of each student. After the pudding was ate and the plates cleared, Dumbledore stood up and a silence fell over the hall.

"Welcome back students, and welcome to Hogwarts, first years. As you all should now know, Voldemort has returned. We will be taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of all of you. I would like to indroduce Professor Umbridge, our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher." Umbridge stood up and gave a stupid little speech with an annoyingly fake sweet voice that dared people to hate her.

"Well students, welcome back, and know that whatever may happen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home," Dumbledore finished with a smile.
