The Weasley Twin's Love

Reunited

Serenity's PoV

The week with Lupin went almost too fast. The two bonded over James and other things, like their love for stories and hatred for cheesy romances. All too quickly Serenity was packing up her back and saying goodbye to the beautiful house and the wonderful friend she'd made. Mrs. Weasley had come to pick her up. 
"Bye, Serenity," Lupin said a bit sadly. 
"Bye, Lupin," I cried while running into his arms. 

I wasn't with him long but he kind of became like a father figure to me. He was there for me more than my real Dad ever was. 

"I'll miss you," I said while my head was buried in his chest. 

"I'll still be at Order meetings and I'll come down during holiday," he replied. 

I sniffled and let go of him. "Well then I guess I'll see you then, Moony." 
He gave a warm smile and then gave me another quick hug. 

"Oh, dear, we all missed you back home. We're gonna apparate, okay?" I nodded and grabbed onto her coat. 

Lupin waved from his house. I caught one last look before I felt an all-too-familiar tug at my belly button. 

We appeared at the edge of the Burrow and I happily ran into the house. The first person I saw was Mr. Weasley. He had obviously just gotten off work. He still had a fancy shirt on and a briefcase was tucked under his arm. 

"Ah, Serenity, we missed you," he said while pulling me into a friendly embrace. "I'll take your case." I handed it too him and turned around to Mrs. Weasley. 

"Thank you for bringing me in, Mrs. Weasley." 
"Please call me Molly, dear, and it was our pleasure. You are like a daughter to us." 
I threw my arms around her and she happily hugged me back. I felt someone wrap their arms around me, but I couldn't move. 

"Ginny?" I asked playfully. 

They let out a sigh and turned me around to face them. It was George. "George!" I squealed and jumped into his arms. I wrapped my legs around him and dug my head into his neck.

"So much happened! I stayed with Lupin, which actually wasn't too bad. He and I are a lot alike." 

"Really?" George asked, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. 
"Yes, George," I laughed. "We both love reading and we bonded over how we hate Snape." 

George threw his head back and let out a low laugh. 

"You know what else you have in common?" an unknown voice chimed in. 

"What the-?" George jumped up and stepped in front of me. 

"You were both bitten by me." Fenrir Greyback walked into view and before George could curse him, he saw who he was holding. He had Fred and Ginny in either hand. Fred looked like he was about to pass out. I had forgotten that he didn't like people touching his neck. If Charity would ever touch his neck he would bat her hand away and take in large forced breaths. 

"Let them go," George demanded. 
"I will. In exchange for Serenity." 

I jumped in front of him. "Here I am. Now let them go." 

He threw the two of them to the ground. Ginny stood up and pointed her wand at Fenrir, but he had already pulled me against him. George ran to his brother who was gasping on the floor. Fred had curled up into fetal position and was taking in sharp inhales of breath. 
"Ginny, put your wand down," George said without taking his eyes off of Fenrir. Ginny slowly lowered her wand. "What do you want with Serenity?"
"I heard she was staying with Lupin. I also heard that she was hiding from Severus. I decided to take actions into my own hands. The Death Eaters need her." 

Then everything happened at once. Dad barged into the room and pointed his wand at Fenrir. Charity ran in behind him and stood, stunned at the door. Fenrir took his chance and took one of his talons and cut into my face. I could feel the blood running down my face. I couldn't see out of my left eye. Everyone in the room ran up, but Greyback easily threw them all off and cut three gashes in my stomach through my shirt. I let out a scream but before the sound could get out he clamped my mouth shut and dug him nails into my cheek and jaw. 
"Don't do it, Greyback!" Dad warned. 
"It's too late. The rest of the Death Eaters will be here soon. They've been waiting to get these four for years."

He took the chance to bite me while everyone was stunned by the news. The door opened again and Mrs. Weasley and Lupin barged in. Lupin screamed and together he and Molly stunned both of us.
