Serenity's PoV

Serenity woke up in the Burrow. Mrs. Weasley was cooking breakfast for the twins, Charity, and Serenity. Serenity felt sick. She ran to the bathroom and threw up everything she ate the past day.

"George," she moaned. George came rushing up to the bathroom and saw her.

"Mum!" George called. "Serenity's sick!"

He reached to grab her, but she pushed his hand away. "I don't want to get you sick."

"I couldn't care less," he said as he carried her bridal style.

Fred and Charity were having breakfast at the table.

"Move everything off the table," Mrs. Weasley instructed them. Fred and Charity rushed to move everything out of the way.

"I'm fine, Mrs. Weasley," she slurred.

"She's burning up," Mrs. Weasley said in shock. "Drink this," she instructed. Serenity took the medicine.

"That should help the fever." She looked at George. "She's going to be loopy for a day or so."

"I'll watch her."

"I'm not a bird. You would think that he would know that about his own girlfriend," Serenity said in shock.

"I know you're not a bird, love," George told her.

"Good."

"Let's go to the couch."

He helped her down from the table and she ran into the wall.

She giggled, "That wasn't there yesterday."

Fred laughed, "You get a drunkard for a girlfriend."

"She's adorable, though," George said, a smile playing at his lips.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and helped her to the couch. She put her head on his lap and tried to sleep.

"George, I can't sleep."

"You've been laying down for 2 minutes."

"Shhh," she pushed a finger to his lips. "You don't get a vote."

"What am I voting on, exactly?" he asked her with a laugh.

"I told you, you don't get a vote."

"Oh," he said. A smile formed at his face.

"Georgie?"

"Yes, love?"

"Will you carry me?"

"Where?"

She shrugged. He picked her up and she clung to him. Her arms were wrapped around her neck. Her red hair was hanging to his arms. She remembered seeing that hair everyday. The person with that hair used to hold her when she couldn't sleep. And it worked every time.

*******************************************

It was dinner time when she woke up.  She felt much better and not as insane. Serenity cracked her knuckles and walked into the kitchen. But it surprised her who was in there. It wasn't George. It wasn't Fred. It wasn't Charity. It wasn't even Mrs. Weasley.

It was her father.

"Serenity, love, can we talk?" Snape asked her.

She sat down. "What do you want?"

"I want you to forgive me. I'm sorry I couldn't save your mother. I-"

"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SENT VOLDEMORT AFTER HER!" Tears were flowing down Serenity's face.

"I didn't know!"

"Get out," she said as calmly as possible.

"Love-"

"GET OUT!"

"I'm not leaving without you and your sister!"

He grabbed her wrist. "GEORGE! SOMEONE HELP ME!" she cried out.

George ran down the stairs and punched Snape in the face. Fred came behind him and together the two of them shoved him out of the house. Serenity sat in the corner and rocked back and forth.

"I can't. I won't," Serenity whispered.

Charity and Mrs. Weasley ran down the stairs. Charity sat down by Serenity and pulled her head onto her lap. Fred explained to Mrs. Weasley what they saw. She looked furious.

Mrs. Weasley stormed out to who knows where. Fred and Charity left to watch the news. George sat down beside Serenity.

"I swear that I will never let that man touch you again. Ever."

She turned to him. "I love you."

"I love you too, beautiful."

Mrs.  Weasley came back in as the two were standing up.

"I talked to Minerva. She says that she will make sure that Severus has no contact with you while you're staying with her."

She placed various dishes on the table and calls everyone to eat. It was delicious but Serenity was exhausted. She fell asleep.

George's PoV

Serenity's face fell into her plate. Mashed potatoes and all. George chuckled. He gently picked her up and carried her to the bathroom. She was out. Which made it very difficult to clean her face and not wake her up.

He eventually got the mashed potatoes off of her face and carried her to her room. George set Serenity on her bed and covered her with a blanket. He gently kissed her forehead. A faint smile formed on her face. George walked to the edge of her bed and sat down. He turned away from her. He watched the room, making sure Snape didn't get in. And that's where he fell asleep.
