The Return of Charity

Serenity's PoV

Serenity woke up early the next day. Ginny was already downstairs. Serenity got up and descended down the long stairs. Molly was in the kitchen cooking breakfast and Sirius was at the table, drinking a cup of coffee.

"Good morning, deary," Molly called to her from the kitchen.

"Good morning. Any news?" Serenity asked as she sat down across from Sirius.

"Your sister woke up. She'll be here in about half an hour. Madam Pomfrey had to do vital checks on her and Dumbledore still has to explain everything that happened to her. Arthur is still living," Sirius replied.

"CHARITY'S AWAKE?!?!" Fred screamed as he ran into the room.

"Yes. She'll be here soon," Molly replied to Fred.

"We can wait to eat can't we?" Fred asked.

"Of course," Molly answered.

George came down the stairs and Molly filled him in on the information. He was thrilled that Charity was awake again. They made small talk for half an hour, but it died out altogether when they saw Dumbledore and Charity at the door. Serenity ran up to her and threw her arms around her sister. They held on to each other for a good five minutes. She saw Fred and ran into his arms. Charity was already crying tears of joy from seeing all of them. Serenity was also crying, as well as Fred.

"Well, I think I must depart before all of you drown me in tears," Dumbledore said as he apparated out.

George and Sirius were the only ones that didn't have tears trailing down their cheeks. Molly introduced herself and started crying as Charity threw her arms around the woman she had just met. She hugged George, who had a tear rolling down his cheek but didn't show it. She also threw her arms around Sirius, who like George, was silently crying.

After a few minutes of crying, they pulled theirselves together and stopped crying.

"Breakfast!" Molly called from the kitchen.

Harry, Ginny, Ron, Charlie, and Bill ran into the kitchen and sat down. They all hugged Charity and then started eating their breakfast. After breakfast, Sirius asked everyone but Charity and Serenity to leave.

"Can Fred and George stay with us?" Charity asked Sirius.

"If they would like," Sirius shrugged.

George sat down beside Serenity and held onto her hand. Fred stood behind Charity.

"How much do you know about your parents?" Sirius asked herself and Charity.

"We know that they are Lily Evans and Severus Snape," she replied.

"Yes, that is true. Now, I will explain everything. Lily fell in love with Snape and they started dating straight out of Hogwarts. After a few years, Snape proposed. They got married three years before Harry was born. Lily was pregnant with the twins when Snape became a Death Eater. She knew that it wouldn't be safe for her daughters, so she gave him two choices: Stop being a Death Eater, or they divorce. Snape chose to divorce. James took them in and parented you two. He loved you like you were his own. They made Minerva McGonagall your godmother.

Lily and James got married and had Harry. They were the happiest I had ever seen them when the three of you played like brother and sisters. They loved all of you. But, Voldemort was back. He had plans to kill you two and Harry. James protected you two and Lily protected Harry. They knew it would cost their lives. Serenity, you have a scar like Harry's on the back of your shoulder. Charity, yours is behind your ear. Voldemort casted the killing curse three times, one after another. But, he couldn't kill any of you. He vanished that night."
