Feeling Empty Inside

Serenity's PoV

Serenity still wasn't allowed to see Charity. It was killing her that she couldn't see her twin. She wanted to see Charity walk into the Gryffindor common room and hug her, but that didn't happen.

She kept wanting to sneak out, but George was watching her like a hawk. She was just waiting for his back to turn so she could make a run for it.

"I'm sorry I have to keep you from seeing your sister, but I'm only following Dumbledore's orders." George told her, looking down sadly.

"I know." Serenity replied to him.

"She'll get better Serenity." George told her giving her hope. She just nodded her head and sat on the couch in the Gryffindor common room. George then sat by her and wrapped an arm around her and kissed her on the head.

She snuggled up to him and rested her head on his shoulder and drifted off into sleep.

Serenity then woke up and saw George sleeping. This was her chance. It was her chance to run and see her sister.

She got up carefully and made sure she didn't wake up George. She then ran out the door and to the infirmary.

But just before she got to the door she felt a set of arms grab her. She thrashed around in the person arms.

"Serenity stop." She heard the person say and she knew who it was, her father.

"But dad I need to see her, please let me." She pleaded tears about to fall down her face. She couldn't take it anymore, not seeing her sister was killing her.

"No, you can't see her I'm sorry." Her father said.

She couldn't hold the tears in anymore. She started bawling. Her father held her close to him not worrying about anyone seeing. It was too early in the morning for students to be up anyway.

"Please go back to the Gryffindor common room before George starts to worry." He told her.

"Ok, I love you daddy." Serenity told her father.

"I love you, too." He said to her and smiled.

He then let her go and she walked back to the common room.
