DREAMING
"You little whore" my dad screamed punching me right in my jaw. I fell to the ground. I was silent
"YOU ANSWER ME WHEN I TALK TO YOU" He yelled
"Y-Yes" I replied shakily
He kicked me and he thrashed me more.
"Please stop" I whispered
He lifted his fist one more time just to punch and-

"AHHH" I screamed as I woke up. Gasping for air. I just had a nightmare about my dad. Gosh I havent had one of these in a while. I'm shaken. I look over to my dresser to check the time. Its 4 am. No point in going back to sleep.
I'm shaken. I stay in bed for a bit and see theres no point in staying there just staring at the ceiling.
I stand up and make my way to the shower. I need to take a cold shower.
By the time I'm done just sitting in the shower in cold water its 5 am and time for me to get ready for school. I quickly get ready and make my way downstairs.
"Morning Ness. You ok?" My uncle asked.
"I'm ok. I just had a nightmare. How did you sleep uncle?" I asked
"Was it about your parents?" He asked and I frowned but nodded my head.
"Its going to be ok Ness" he assured me and gave me hug. I wanted to cry but I just controlled myself. We broke off and he wished me a good day and went off to work.
He is the only family I've ever really had.
I make my way to school and the day goes by faster that I thought. Before I know it I'm making my way home. Now I'm going to the collection zone.
"Nerissa" I heard a really deep voice say. I look up and see this boy again.
"Hi..." I trailed off. I dont even know his name.
"Sorry I dont know your name..." I said trailing off again.
"Take a guess" he said.
Excuse me I dont have time. I have to get home and cry. This is not the time for this.
"No clue" I say.
"I'm Axel." He replies.
"Ok. Hi Axel. Why do you keep stalking me?" I asked genuinely curious why a boy as fine as him keeps following me. I'm in reality scared of him but I need to put on a brave face.
"Im not stalking you" he said seriously
"I'm just approaching you"
Excuse me?
"Um ok...and how did you know my name?" I ask. My curiosity is getting the best of me.
"Just heard of you from a couple of girls who were talking about you."
ERM. Ugh. It's only my first week here and now theres all this rubbish about people talking about me. Whatever. I've dealt with this.
"Ok" I say simply.
"Well I need to go so see you around." I say walking off as we just waved a little. This boy is wierd. Hes a tall terrifying boy. But I honestly fear men to the extent that I'll make them feel as if I should scare them. This Axel boy scares me but I try my best to end our conversations quickly. I dont like men.
And maybe I never will.
