Chapter 14

When we got home from Axel's house yesterday I took a nice cold shower and went straight to sleep. Today my uncle said I'm not going to school because my limbs are still sore. I tried to argue with him but gave up when I realised he was relentless about it. So today I plan to spend the day resting. I have some assignments I was supposed to complete so since I have nothing to do I might as well just do them.

I took a shower and got dressed in a lounge set I bought the other day when I went to the mall. I went down and made myself an amazing breakfast if I do say so myself. I made some blueberry pancakes with a nice mug of hot chocolate. After having my breakfast I brushed my teeth and sat down to some assignments.

I managed to finish all the work in a straight 5 hours with no break. I did wholeheartedly as well. Now it was lunch time and I just wanted to relax and watch some netflix which my uncle has kindly been playing for. I went down to make myself some lunch but the house keeping had already done it. So I just had some lunch and went back to my room so I could watch some well deserved Netflix for the rest of my day. 

I set up the TV but decided to check my phone before binge watching. I knew there was nothing I just wanted to see some celebrity Instagram feed. Just then a message popped up on my screen. It's an unknown number.

Unknown Number

U : "Hi Nerissa"

N : "hi. Whos this?"

U : "its axel"

HOLD AWN. How did Axel even get my number. That's wierd because I never gave it to him.

N : "hi Axel. How did you get my 
      number lol?"

*the dialogue has been changed to A because she has saved him as Axel now*

A : "I have my ways"

N : "that's a bit creepy dont you think?"

A : "whatever this is my number"

N : "alright cool."

A : "why dint you come to school        today?"

N : "my body is still a bit sore but I'm sure by tommorow I'll be back. Did I miss any assignments?"

A : "oh ok I hope you feel better soon:) and no you don't have any assignments in the classes we have together"

N : "ok thank you sm. Imma go watch my Netflix now"

A : "ok bye nessa"

When he calls me by my nickname it makes me all giddy. Ugh I don't like this giddy feeling. I havent felt this for the longest time. I last had a crush on someone in elementary school. But I was fucking young and immature and back then my parents weren't abusive bastards who deserve less.

I put my phone on flight mode and put it on to charge and the dove into my Netflix. After 2 hours of bingeing, I took a nice long nap. I deserve this nap.

I talked to Nerissa and it seems her body hasnt completely healed yet. I deal with Jackson today after school. Nerissa doesn't know that I own a mafia. But she definitely isnt in the dark. She may know what type of life I lead.

Noone really knows what I do but everyone knows my temper. I even admit I lose my shit quickly. That gives people a hint that not all is ok at home. I feel like people think I'm in a biker gang. Whatever they think is whatever.

I walk up to Jackson and Avia's jail cell. I pull jackson out and take him to the tortured room.

"My money right now" I said
"I-I need more time" he let out

Ive had it. I took my mini knife and dragged it along his thigh and he let out a loud scream. I let my men handle the rest. Jackson wont die but he will go through the same pain he put Nerissa through. Her mother will deal with a little less.

One thing is for sure. I will kill anyone who messes with that girl. I dont know why though.

I shrug the feeling off and just proceed with my day. Since Jackson dint give me money hes going to be here for a while. Or he will probably never leave.
