River

The next day Draco left for classes, he forced Pansy under her will to stay out of our dorm and to sleep in the common room for a while. Obviously since Pansy is obsessed with him she listened.

I stayed in bed for breakfast, Adrian didn't bother me this time and didn't try to drag me out of bed. So i stayed there. In silence watching the trees blow in the wind outside my window.

It was very hot outside, i knew summer was near which meant I would need to complete my task of killing Dumbledore soon, very soon. Draco and I hadn't really talked about it since that one night but i really hoped he was almost done with the cabinet, i knew Voldemort was getting more impatient by the day.

I laid in bed for hours, the sun had already gone down by the time someone came in my dorm. I turned my head to see Draco standing in my door way, he was holding a plate and a clear cup that held water.

He closed the door and sat the food on my side table then sat beside me on my bed looking down at me, "You look tired." He said blankly, i knew him showing so much emotion towards me was completely out of his comfort zone so i couldn't blame him for trying to keep his composure around me.

I looked away from him and out the window, "I am." I replied my voice barley coming out clear.

He nodded and stared at the floor, "You should sleep." He put his hands on the side of my bed clenching it hard.

He worried about me a little to much.

"I need to shower." I said ignoring his remark.

He shook his head with a small smile and stood up sticking out his hand for me to grab, " Then you should shower."

I stared at his hand, it was shaking slightly but i grabbed it anyways. He helped me out of bed and towards the bathrooms.

I stumbled on the way there from not being out of bed the entire day but still managed to make it to the showers with Draco's help.

He left me by the sinks and walked over to the shower, i watched as he turned it on only halfway towards the hot side and turned back to me.

His eyes traveled down to my clothes then back up to my eyes, " Ill leave you here, i'll be waiting in your dorm so just yell if you need anything." He started walking towards the door but i grabbed his hand, he looked back at me.

" Wait-" I quickly said, he stared down at me confused. " Can you... stay with me?" I added, a sincere smile grew on his face and he nodded.

"Yeah, of course River." He turned so his back wasn't facing me.

I turned away from him and took my clothes off. He sat on the floor next to the shower and stared down at the floor as i got in. I closed the curtain but immediately opened it again.

He looked up at me, "I just-" i sighed, " I just am scared? I don't know. I just want to be able to see you." I said letting the water run down my front side.

A small smile grew on his face as he remained keeping respectful eye contact. " I get it."

As i washed my hair he dazed off staring down at the stone floor quietly, i didn't see this side of him often, i suppose it was... nice?

Later that night i changed into a white hoodie and grey sweatpants, Draco had stayed with me for the rest of the night but he still had detention to attend to so i was sitting in the common room.
