Chapter 10

       River

I could see Blaise getting visually angrier by the second, he banged his fist on the table.

" What?! For that whore?!" He asked pointing to me.

Draco stood up towering over him, "I think you're the whore here Blaise, didn't you fuck Luna? You must be really desperate."

Adrian chuckled, " Damn Blaise that's a new low."

I shook my head, they were so ridiculous.

" That's a rumor you asshole! Actually you were the one to make up that rumor!" Blaise snapped back.

" I'm gonna go take a shower." I said annoyed, i stood up quickly and only took about 2 steps before a wave of dizziness took over me. I began to stumble backwards but the feeling of Draco's cold hands grabbed onto my torso before i could fall.

" River-" He helped me stand again.

" What the fuck?!" Adrian said standing up and handed me water, i pushed it away.

" I'm- fine." I said putting my hand on my forehead.

" No, you need to eat something. Now." Draco said sternly, He helped me sit back down at the table.

Blaise had sat back down and was looking at me like i had two heads, " What's up with you?" he asked scrunching up his eyebrows.

" Nothing! Now Draco i said i was fine-" He handed me a piece of toast.

" I don't remember the last time i saw you eat, i'm not letting you leave until you at least eat a piece of toast." He jabbed the bread at me, i rolled my eyes and took it from him.

I don't think anyone from the other houses had noticed so that was good at least. I bit into the toast as Blaise tried to go back to the conversation.

I completely drowned out their annoying ass noises and i finished the piece of toast as quickly as i could.
Once I finished I stood up without almost passing out this time and walked up to the common room. I laid on the couch and stared up at the ceiling for a while, the calming sound of the fire next to me crackling every so often helping me fall asleep.

I woke up with Draco sitting in the chair beside me, he was staring down at me but when he realized i was awake he quickly turned his head to the fire.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes, " Did i seriously fall asleep in the common room?" I asked confused, he looked over me with his gaze making me feel nervous.

" Yeah, Adrian told me so i came to make sure no body... messed with you." His blank expression and droopy eyes told me he really just needed to sleep.

I stared at him for a moment still confused. "...Thank you Draco" He nodded at me and put his head back closing his eyes for a second, " Are you okay? When was the last time you slept?" I asked concerned, He scrunched up his eye brows lifting his head.

"When was the last time you talked to your dad?" he snapped back.

I scoff "Excuse me?"

" I'm going to bed, stop worrying about me." He stood up and stormed up to the boys dormitories angrily. He pissed me off sometimes, i was just making sure he was okay.

I walked upstairs to my dorm attempting to not wake Pansy or my other roommates up. I laid in my bed and quickly fell back asleep without giving Malfoy another thought.

" River- River." I opened my eyes to see Tracey standing over me, the light shinning through my window hit my eyes immediately causing me to flinch slightly.
