The next day i got dressed into a black tight mini skirt and a white tank top, Pansy had already been downstairs and ready before i was even awake. Which typically was usual.

I walked down to the great hall in a slow pace not quite in a hurry, Everyone was already down there considering i was 20 minutes late but no one seemed to mind. I sat down in between Adrian and Miles like usual, Miles was stuffing his face with food as quickly as he could like he always did. Adrian was sitting silently as Daphne tried teaching him about potions which he struggled in extremely.

Without even looking at me he put a piece of toast and some eggs on my plate, it had become a routine of him putting food on my plate during great hall hours by now.

Draco was sitting across from us, he was staring down at his plate putting forks of food in his mouth every so often but not talking to anyone.

Soon after i had finished my toast a few owls flew in holding letters, one dropped on my lap. Draco and Adrian both stared at me as i picked it up, it read Lucius on the front so i knew what the subject would be about. I teared it open to read it.

    Dear River,

I am glad to hear Draco has finally decided to finish his part of the task but as you know, it's your turn, Tonight at 5pm sharp the death eaters will enter the castle through the cabinet. You shall be on the astronomy tower waiting for them, when they get up there we expect the task of you killing Dumbledore to be achieved. Don't be late.

     -Lucius Malfoy

I stared down at the letter with a small smirk growing on my face. It was finally my turn to prove everyone wrong.

" What's that?" Draco asked picking his head up slightly to get a better look at the letter.

I handed it to him with the smirk still on my face. Nobody knew about the task still so i had to keep it that way until tonight and telling him out loud would just be to risky.

Draco's eyes glanced over the letter before handing it back to me with attitude. I roll my eyes at him and snatch the letter from his hands, he was trying to make me feel bad and make me out to be a murder but i do what i have to do no matter what it takes and he just doesn't get that.

After breakfast i headed to potions with Adrian and Miles by my side arguing about some random quidditch shit like they always did.

When we walked in Severus looked me dead in my eyes, i could tell immediately Lucius had told him about tonight. One side of my mouth turned up, i felt so powerful knowing the rest of Dumbledores existence was in my hands and that it wouldn't last much longer. The old man will finally get what he had coming for him.

" River?" I turned my head to see Adrian and Miles had already sat in their seats, " You coming?" He asked, i snap out of my thoughts and walk over to the table they had decided to sit at. Usually we would sit with Flint and Draco but Draco sat with Daphne and some random Gryffindors, he despised any Gryffindors so i knew he was just trying to keep his distance from me like an immature coward.

However, Flint still had the nerve to sit with us. Miles and Adrian knew what had happened a few days ago between us so they were holding a grudge against him.

"River, long time no see." He said with a smirk.

"You have got to be kidding me." Miles interrupted rubbing his forehead. He's never been super protective over me but he definitely shows he cares nonetheless.

"Not long enough." I replied saltily, Adrian looked down at his books quietly minding his own business, i could see a smirk growing on his face out of the corner of my eye.
