Born as an outsider, (Y/N) was born right on the southeastern border of the Empire in a large town. But with no family or friends, he grew up as homeless orphan, doing whatever to survive.
This eventually lead to him fleeing his homeland and living...
It wasn't long after (Y/N) and Esdeath's confirmation to each other that tensions between them grew. While the former's attitude didn't change much, the opposite is said for the latter. Esdeath became much clingier than usual, indulged in (Y/N)'s hobbies, and had no problem telling others that he was off-limits(not that he had many other suitors to begin with). She also began to go out of her way to do almost anything for him and constantly sought his opinion and/or approval on certain matters. He'd be lying if he said it he said it couldn't get annoying at times, but it doesn't matter all that much to him. All and all, it's been a very entertaining week for (Y/N) as Esdeath did all she could to make him fall in love with her. If only she knew how it actually worked...
At the current moment, (Y/N) found himself in the middle of a meeting between Minister Honest and a few government officials of the Empire. If it was completely up to him, he would choose not to attend these meetings at all. But since he is Honest's personal guard, it was his duty to protect him so wherever the Minister went, (Y/N) followed.
???1: "Another castle surrendered without a fight?!"
???2: Cowards! The fiends don't have a drop of loyalty in their blood!"
Honest: "The viceroys of this castle have been re-located to the countryside for expressing defiance against his Majesty. It's no surprise."
???3: "But Minister! If this persists, then the Revolutionary Army!-"
???4: "There's no need for panic."
???3: "Great General Budo!"
Budo: "A general should refrain from getting involved with politics. I've lived by those words for quite some time now. However, I'm finding it difficult to keep my mouth shut when it comes to something like this, Minister."

Honest: "I don't know what to say!"
Budo; "I will protect this Empire. It is a responsibility that has been passed down in my family for the last thousand years. I will personally annihilate anyone who dares disturb the peace of this great nation, whoever it may be."
Honest: "Admirable, but there's no reason for concern. Even if the citizens want to rebel, there are plans in place to overpower them."
He stands from his seat and opens a door where a few individuals clad in yellow robes walk in.
Honest: "Gentlemen, allow me to introduce an elite force I've assembled to protect the Capital."
Amongst the crowd of yellow cloaks, a man with white hair, golden eyes, and an x-shaped scar that crosses his face walks into the meeting room with a smug look. Honest walks to the side of the young man and places an arm over his shoulder.
Honest: "This is my son Syura. I've decided to appoint him as the company's commander."
