Midday, Imperial Capital

Tatsumi and Lubbock creep around a currently empty part of the Capital as they make their way towards a disclosed location for a meeting.

Lubbock: Hey, Tatsumi. Just wondering, what are you gonna do when this is all over?

Tatsumi: Uh, I don't know. I haven't thought about it. What about you?

Lubbock: I run that bookstore on the side. I'll probably just stick with that. And once the time is right, I'll propose to Najenda!

Tatsumi: That sounds nice...

Lubbock: Hey, I have a real chance with her damn it!

Tatsumi: Sure thing, Lubbo. Whatever you say...

Lubbock: So, have you gotten anywhere with Mine?

Tatsumi: Huh?! What does Mine have to do with this?!

Lubbock: Don't play dumb! You two have clearly been acting differently since Kyoroku! So tell me, how far have you two gone? Have you two kissed yet?

Lubbock wrapped an arm around his shoulders and puckered his lips to get on Tatsumi's nerves further.

Tatsumi: Knock it off!

???: Pardon me...

While Lubbock continued to antagonize Tatsumi, a figure in a white hooded cloak approached the two.

???: You two are members of Night Raid, right?

Tatsumi: Uh-

Lubbock: Let me guess, you're with the Resistance?

???: I am.

Confirming herself to be allied with Tatsumi and Lubbock, the Resistance member smiles at the two as she lowers her hood. Both members of Night Raid share a look before nodding to each other and following the Resistance ally.

With plenty of guards on duty throughout the capital, the three had to navigate carefully to avoid being caught. But with their resistance ally knowing the Capital incredibly well, that never ended up being a worry.

Lubbock: "I gotta say, it's surprising that a lady like you would be with the Resistance."

"Revolutionary Rebel": My father was one of the Emperor's instructors, but the Minister accused him of having ulterior motives against the Empire and threw both my mother and father in prison.

Lubbock: Now I get it.

Tatsumi: So that means even more people in the palace must support the revolution.

"Revolutionary Rebel": Yes. They've united under anti-Minister bureaucrats who stay in close contact with the Revolutionary Army.

Lubbock: And it's up to us to help the revolutionaries gather inside once the siege on the palace actually begins.

Tatsumi: Perfect. It's nice to know we're not alone.

Lubbock: We were chosen for this mission because of my stealth and your invisibility. We can't mess this up!

After spending some time navigating thick vegetation, the trio had finally made it to their destination.

"Revolutionary Rebel": This is it.

Cautiously, she stepped out of the brush and walked towards the place of the meeting, a white building with a granite gray door. She looked around before quietly knocking on the door twice. A minute or so passed with no response, much to her surprise.
