the following day vinnie came over when kio was still asleep. he had climbed thru my window.

nai: omg u scared me

he laughs while stroking his hair. he walks up to me and cupped my cheek, as he was about to kiss me...

nai: woah woah what do u think ur doing ?

vinnie looked confused

nai: u still cheated on me i haven't forgotten i
vinnie: are u serious?
nai: yeah

vinnie backs away and rubs his hand over his face as he walked around my room sighing.

nai: i need more time vinnie
vinnie: why!
nai: because u broke my heart vinnie!

we both got quiet.

vinnie: nai we can do this! please take me back

i hesitated

nai: i don't know. maybe.

he goes on for another kiss

vinnie: as long as i still get to see you smile

i smile, he smirks and hugs me.

nai: but you know we're gonna have to keep this a secret right?

he sighs

vinnie: yeah ur brother kinda hates me
nai: about that... i can try to make u guys friends again since this is all my fault. but if i do then we can't even be seen as friends.

vinnie hugs me out of excitement

vinnie: thank you nai i don't know what i did to deserve you!
nai: u don't deserve me doofus

he laughs

vinnie: i really don't

he says in his raspy voice as he hugs me.

we heard kio opening his bedroom door and entering the bathroom.

nai: shit quick!
vinnie: fuck

he climbs out of the window and gives me one last smile before he leaves. i close the window on him and i throw my self on the bed smiling. i really miss him, my pride isn't worth it.

i heard kio get closer to my bedroom door and he opens it

nai: why no knock?
kio: i'm leaving to washington. i got a job interview.
nai: what u wanna work all the way over there!
kio: the work is here in LA but for some weird reason i need to go to washington for the interview
nai: that's kinda sketchy
kio: it's a really great deal
nai: alr when are u leaving?
kio: um today...
nai: WHAT already!
kio: yeah
nai: well when are you coming back!
kio: in a week, it's not so long. u ok?
nai: yeah it's fine.
kio: when i'm gone i don't want u talking to vinnie, got it?

i scoff

nai: yeah why would i talk to him
kio: good, i'm leaving in 30 minutes for the airport
nai: damn that's very quick
kio: i know, u'll be fine right?
nai: kio i'm 17
kio: still, some of your decisions have been very stupid
nai: whatever. cmon u'll be late for the airport

i say as i push him out. this meant a whole week with vinnie!
