(nai's pov)

it was 2:05 pm. oh shit. i overslept! damn it. i quietly get out of bed and i walk into kio's room. he was sleeping. i wake him up.

kio: whaaaaat
nai: kio, KIO!
kio: WHAT
nai: they're home, we oversleppppttt

kio got up.

nai: change quickly so we can leave.
kio: wtv

i walked back into my room. i changed into some nicer clothes. i did my makeup quickly. i gave vinnie a forehead kiss before leaving. kio was waiting in the car. i sit in the front seat and kio starts driving.

we arrive and we get out immediately. we missed them. we walk in and they're in the living room, unpacking their things. they see us and our mom rushes over to us.

rose: my babies!!

she hugged us tightly.

rose: i missed you guys so much.
kio: we missed you too.

dad came up and hugged us.

nai: how was the trip?
jack: it would've been more fun with you guys to be honest.
rose: now, you guys have to update me with your lives.

we sit down in the living room.

kio: well. nailea and vinnie started to date, then he cheated on her-
nai: his ex girlfriend drugged him. that's why.
kio: wtv, they got back together and me and charli got together. we recently broke up and she's with someone else.
rose: oh i'm so sorry kio
kio: it's fine. nai don't u have something u wanna tell.

i rolled my eyes at him.

nai: i took a pregnancy test today
rose: ARE YOU PREGNANT?
nai: no, it was negative. i just wanted to let you know.

she kissed me on the cheek.

rose: you and vinnie seem to be really hittin' it off
nai: yeah, i really love him.
jack: so when are we meeting prince charming? i haven't seen him in so long
nai: he's coming over for dinner
rose: great! bring ur friends too!
nai: kio, u fine with charli coming?
kio: mhm.
jack: bring her boyfriend too!

i look over at kio. i knew he would be uncomfortable with that.

nai: well um, kio and nick, her boyfriend, had a fight two days ago.
rose: kiooo, why do you always fight with everyone.
kio: i can't do anything about it mom. he was pissing me off.
jack: i feel like i've missed so much.
rose: yeah me too. i'm never going on long vacations anymore.
nai: oh um. i uh. this isn't easy to say but um. i got raped.
jack: WHAT
rose: MIJA ARE YOU SERIOUS?
nai: vinnie saved me. if he wouldn't have been there, something really serious could've happened.
rose: well we've got him to thank.
jack: are you okay?
nai: yeah i'm completely fine, i've recovered. he's in jail now.

time skip

i sat in my room and i was facetiming vinnie.

nai: can u come over? it's still early but i miss u.
vinnie: yeah i'll come.

he walked up his room and changed.

vinnie: i'm so nervous nai
nai: vinnie don't be

he twirled and showed me his outfit

vinnie: do you think they'll like it? i don't wanna look like a fuck boy.

he took his chains, rings, bracelets and his earrings off.

nai: vinnie put them back on. i want you to be yourself around them.
vinnie: but i feel like i've messed up so much, i could at least look a little bit sophisticated.
nai: what does that even mean
vinnie: i have no clue. it just sounds more profesional
