(nai's pov)

i woke up and i felt something heavy on top of me, i opened my eyes and i saw vinnie peacefully sleeping on my chest. i smiled as i played with his hair and caressed his back while he was gently snoring. i sat there for about an hour just admiring him until he woke up. he turned around to me and smiled when he saw me awake. he gently kissed me.

vinnie: good morning my love

he said with his deep and raspy morning voice.

nai: good morning

i say smiling.

vinnie: happy halloween!
nai: ugh i hate the fact that it's halloween just two days after my birthday.
vinnie: it's too bad! now tell me about your costume!!
nai: no vinnie i said it's a surprise!
vinnie: ugh i know but it's killing me!! i wanna knoooooowww
nai: you should worry more about your costume then mine
vinnie: what costume?
nai: exactly, you don't have one!
vinnie: don't worry about it, i have a good idea.
nai: what?
vinnie: it's a surprise

he mocked me, i rolled my eyes. he laughed.

vinnie: you should talk to kio.
nai: no
vinnie: you don't have a choice.
nai: yes i do

nai: whatever
vinnie: sorry babe but you're gonna talk to him.

i ignored him.

vinnie: you know, charli broke up with ki-
nai: WHAT WHEN?
vinnie: she didn't tell you?

i got out of bed and i knocked on her door. she opened up.

charli: hey w-
nai: YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM?!
charli: oh boy
nai: why didn't you tell me!
charli: i didn't wanna bother you, you have so much on your plate rn.

i hugged her.

nai: don't you dare to think that i never have time for you!
charli: i love you

i pull away and i put my hands on her shoulders.

nai: you wanna talk about it?

she nodded. we got in bed and laid face to face.

nai: why did you do it?
charli: he's not been himself lately, he's so mad all the time.
nai: shit, that's my fault.
charli: no it's not. it's not your fault it's his. don't take responsibility for his actions nai.
nai: no it's my fault, i've been so selfish and i've made so much drama. i mean getting together with my his bestfriend? that's a lot.

she slapped me

nai: OUCH WHAT WAS THAT FOR
charli: stop blaming yourself you idiot! you don't choose who you fall in love with, it happens and kio needs to realize that. he's the one that should be apologizing.
nai: yeah ur right
charli: ugh enough about boys! what are you wearing for the party tonight?
nai: it's a surprise!!!
charli: ugh you and surprises!!

i laugh.

time skip → 10 pm

i had just gotten ready for the party. i walked into vinnie's room. he was laying in his bed when he noticed me, his eyes WIDENED. i leaned myself on the door frame.

nai: you like?

he got up and readjusted his pants while walking up to me.
