i saw vinnies car pull up so i called kio down. he yelled at me to wait cus he was brushing his teeth. i opened the door for vinnie and kio walked downstairs. vinnie didn't notice him so he went in for a hug but i swerved him. he made a confused face and shrugged.

kio: dude u came over here to talk to me not her.
vinnie: oh i'm yeah sorry just felt bad for everything.
kio: whatever

they went upstairs and closed the door, i couldn't walk so i didn't even bother trying to walk upstairs cus i knew i would prolly fall, i went over to couch wobbling. it was a miracle i even made it to the front door to open it for vinnie and back without falling.

(vinnies pov)

i was nervous asf, i really needed to make things right, i miss my bestfriend.

vinnie: so what did u wanna talk about?
kio: maybe why u kissed another girl after i gave u one stupid chance.
vinnie: i swear to god it was an accident, and i have proof.

i opened up my phone in front of him and it opened up me and nai's messages automatically. i panicked and i quickly scrolled to maddy's name. i turn the phone to his face to show him. kio read everything.

kio: well why were u drunk?
vinnie: ion fuckin know! ion remember shit
kio: so if i ask her she'll tell me why?
vinnie: she'll probably lie to u, u just have to trust me. i swear i would never do something like that. i fucking LOVE nai
kio: don't come here with all ur stupid love shit, i know ur using her and i told her.
vinnie: WHAT! IM NOT FUCKING USING HER?
kio: well if u ask all ur exes they say otherwise.

i was pissed, i stood up and got close to him.

vinnie: i fucking love nailea. i wanna literally marry her.
kio: chill tf out
vinnie: kio please can we just go back to being friends.
kio: if we're friends then u can't date my sister
vinnie: but i love her and she loves me...
kio: choose. either we're all friends or we're not.

i dap him up, he looked suspicious of me. now i just have to figure out why nai's mad at me.

vinnie: hey, why didn't nai wanna hug me?
kio: idk maybe cus u cheated on her and broke her heart.
vinnie: don't...

i sighed, i hated hearing that. i didn't fucking mean to! and i thought we were on good terms now, maybe she was mad at me for making her not be able to walk?

vinnie: i'm going down to talk to her.
kio: ok i'll follow u
vinnie: um

kio looked at me with a confused look

kio: something wrong?
vinnie: what no no

i went out of his room and down the stairs and i could hear kio behind me, i walk up to nai and she was cuddling with luna, my girls <3

i smile at her and sit on the couch that's next to her. kio sits next to me, he kinda ruined the vibe.

vinnie: hi
nai: so y'all friends again?
kio: no

i hit his shoulder

kio: ouch

i scoff

vinnie: we're friends

i say smirking, she didn't smile back. what the fuck did i do wrong?

kio: y'all wanna go out for froyo?

i knew that she couldn't walk so i said no

kio: why?
vinnie: not feeling it, if u want u can go by urself.
kio: and leave y'all alone? hell nah

i roll my eyes at him. i look back at nai, she was just petting luna ignoring me. i was just looking at her admiring her until kio aka the mood killer hit my arm.

kio: let's go play valorant cmon

"yeah" i said still looking at her.

vinnie: nai u wanna join us?
nai: no i'm good
vinnie: um yeah i- yeah

i kept stuttering like a idiot.

(nai's pov)
he's a dick, it's all adding up. he's clearly using me and when the house is fully renovated he's gonna leave me alone. i'm so stupid. fuck boys.
