(nai's pov)

i woke up and i realized that we fell asleep. damn it. i gently move vinnies head. he was so adorable when he slept. i yawned and walked downstairs. my parents were sitting at the table, eating breakfast.

nai: morning
rose: good morning
nai: what happened?

i took a seat.

rose: u and vinnie fell asleep on top of eachother.
nai: why didn't you wake me up. i missed everything
rose: you guys looked so peaceful.
jack: yeah, and u didn't really miss much.
nai: welp, vinnie's still sleeping like a stock upstairs.
rose: i really like him for you. he looks diffrent but his personality is still the same. he's a keeper.

i smiled. vinnie walked down the stairs, yawning.

vinnie: hey, im sorry i fell alseep.

he took a seat next to me. he wrapped his arm around me, pulled me in and kissed the side of my head.

jack: don't apologize. we're more then happy to let you stay the night!

vinnie smiled.

vinnie: thank you so much
nai: did charli n nick go home?
rose: yeah. they left like an hour after you guys fell asleep.
nai: i should probably call her.

i get up and i walk upstairs to my room as i'm calling her. she finally picked up.

nai: hey
charli: morning
nai: i'm so sorry i fell asleep.
charli: don't worry it's fine. there was so much awkward tension between nick and kio so we decided to leave. it felt like we weren't supposed to be there.
nai: i'm so sorry about that.
charli: girl i said it's fine, stop apologizing.

vinnie walked into my room.

vinnie: hey
nai: i'll call you back soon, okay?
charli: yep love u

she hung up.

nai: hey

i smiled.

vinnie: i'm going out with kio, are you staying here or are you going home?
nai: i gotta go home
vinnie: we'll drive you
nai: great

we walked out and downstairs. kio stood up from the table. we put on our shoes. i walk over to my parents and i kiss them goodbye.

i get in the car with vinnie and kio.

nai: where are you guys going?
vinnie: the movies
nai: omg can i please go with y'all
kio: no
vinnie: sorry babe
nai: why not
kio: bc ur annoying

i look at vinnie and he's holding back his laughter. i roll my eyes and i face the window with my arms crossed.

vinnie: i'm sorry nai it's just t-
nai: i don't care. have fun
vinnie: nailea? w-
nai: it's not a big deal vinnie. i said have fun. i'll just watch a movie with someone at hype.

vinnie sighed.

timeskip → 15 minutes

i try to get out as soon as we arrive but vinnie pulls me back. i turn around to him, confused.

vinnie: give me a kiss

i stare at him. at this moment i hated him. he raised his eyebrows. i lean in and i try to give him a quick peck but vinnie placed his hand on my cheek and kisses me for longer then i intended to.

kio: guys that's gross, i'm right here.

vinnie pulled away.

vinnie: i love you
nai: mm me too
