nai's pov

after hours of taking pictures w fans, we were finally boarding. i find my seat and i sit next to the window. vinnie comes and sits next to me. after vinnie comes charli. kio was sitting on the other side of the plane. he was right next to charli.

the plane was about to take off. vinnie whispers in my ear.

vinnie: look at charli and kio.

i look at them. they were holding hands. this was charli's first time so she was probably scared.

nai: awh
vinnie: i think they're secretly together
nai: nah. she would tell me.
vinnie: whatever you say...

i look out the window as we're taking off. vinnie grabbed my hand and pulled it on his lap. he held it with both of his hands. i look at him

nai: are you scared?
vinnie: what? no. i just like holding your hand.

i smile. he was scared and he tried to hide it.

nai: we're gonna be okay. you've done this before vinnie. this is literally safer than driving.
vinnie: yeah. it's just the take off yk. and the turbulence. and the landing. and when the plane turns. and when th- okay fine, i'm scared. 

i chuckle and kiss him. the plane started speeding up and now it was going really fast. i look out the window and we were in the air.

nai: look vinnie! we're up in the air now.

vinnie opened his eyes and sighed of relief. i turn to charli. she was holding kio's hand really tight and she shut her eyes while kio comforted her. i put my hand around vinnie and i let him lay down on my lap. i play with his soft curls while looking out the window.
