nai's pov

i'm on the highway, driving to avani's place. i text avani as i'm driving. "hey are you home?" i send. i finally got off the highway and avani replied.

"yeah i'm home"
"can i come over"
"of course bae"

i look up from my phone and i see a car driving right towards me really fast. the next thing i know, i'm upside down, passed out in a car crash.

vinnie's pov

i walked out of the gym. i barely did anything. i change into some sweatpants and a basic hoodie and i walk into nailea's room. she wasn't there. i furrow my eyebrows and i walk downstairs. she wasn't there. where the fuck did she go. i go into the kitchen and i see jett standing by the fridge.

jett: hey.
vinnie: have you seen nailea?
jett: i haven't. vinnie you've been avoiding me this entire time. we need to talk i-
vinnie: jett i don't have time. do you know where she is?
jett: no.

i walk into the hallway.

jett: vinnie, what's wrong?

i ignore him. the hype house is so big it was impossible to find her. i stopped in the middle of the hallway and i pulled out my phone. i texted her.

"where are you?"
"let me talk to you"

she didn't reply. i call her. she obviously didn't answer. i sighed and i went back to the living room. i sat in sat on the bean bag and i rubbed my hands over my face. i messed up. but i didn't tho? i just needed to talk to her.

jett walked into the living room.

jett: vinnie what's wrong.
vinnie: where the fuck is everyone
jett: they're all still sleeping
vinnie: it's fucking three pm
jett: why are you yelling?
vinnie: nailea left. i don't know where she went.
jett: call her friends

i picked up my phone and i called charli. she didn't pick up. i called avani. she picked up.

avani: hey
vinnie: hey avani. is nai with you?
avani: no but she said she was on her way

i was relived. at least i know she's safe.

vinnie: okay thank you

i hung up.

jett: so?
vinnie: she's on her way to avani
jett: that's good.

i nodded.

jett: so are we going to talk about what happened?
vinnie: jett listen. things are not the same as they were before. i forgave nai but i just can't forgive you. you're my bestfriend and you decided to cuddle with my girlfriend. big fucking red flag. don't try to explain anything, i already know what happened. you messed up our relationship and that's that.
jett: bro i swear it wasn't like that
vinnie: it doesn't matter jett. our friendship is over
jett: vinnie i-
vinnie: jett enough.

he rolled his eyes and walked away. i decided to take a nap in my room since i was exhausted.
