His eyelids twitched as he felt tracing on his exposed shoulder. He didn't feel like leaving the arms of Morpheus yet, so he decided to hold the bolster tighter.

With his eyes still closed, he furrowed his brows as his brain began to work and process that the one he wrapped his arm around was too small to be a bolster.

Slowly, he opened his eyelids, revealing a pair of black orbs to the world, and the first thing he saw was the face of someone he was familiar with. Instantly, flashes of memories of what he had done with this person lying beside him came back to him.

A blush marred his cheeks as the memory was rolling around in his head, especially after the person in front of him was giving him a blinding smile.

They spent the alpha's rut in a very heated night, much more than their first time having sex. But, contrary to what the alpha said about losing control over himself when his rut came, last night was the opposite of wild.

The alpha had treated him like a fragile being and was gentle throughout their many rounds of sex. He yelped as he felt the same touch that stirred him from his slumber before and registered that it was due to the alpha's hand caressing his shoulder.

"I wonder why this mark still remains," Kao uttered as he was looking at Earth's shoulder, where a mark is clearly shown,

Earth was actually embarrassed for his yelp just now, but the alpha didn't comment on it, so he was relieved. He looked sideways to his own shoulder, trying to see the mark that he hadn't seen since a few days ago because he was trying not to be bothered and reminded of the alpha. He could see it slightly and frowned when he found it was getting rather red than before.

"I bit it again last night," was Kao's explanation as he can see the surprise in the beta's face.

Earth giggled, seeing the sheepish look on the alpha's face, who probably was ashamed of doing something so wild.

Kao felt a thrill of happiness as he knew that he was the one that caused that small laugh on the beta.

"I like it."

Kao looked confused as the beta said it; he arched an eyebrow to emphasize his confusion.

Earth smiled widely, which hid most of his eyes from his cheeks, turning upwards. He explained, "I like the mark you left me with."

Kao can't help the satisfied smile that bloomed on his lips. He moved his head closer towards the beta's, and he tenderly kissed Earth's forehead.

Earth was speechless at the fond act the alpha did to him, so he tried to be casual with it by saying, "It stayed rather long for a mere scar after you bit it that time...." The beta trailed off as he remembered that he had just brought up their first time having sex. He blushed.

Kao let out a small laugh, seeing how adorable the beta was right now. Even if they had spent numerous hours doing indecent things and coming off of their highs together, those acts still can't erase the innocent side of this person in front of him, and Kao likes it.

Kao perks up at his own thoughts. He likes it...?

"I actually can still see the mark last I checked, which was just last week. So even if it was slightly faded and it has been months ago too," the beta was oblivious of the alpha's internal struggling.
