One day before Kao confronts his aunt.

The pregnant beta was sitting and resting his back against the headboard of his bed. In his hands was his phone, and he couldn't help the small smile that adorning his lips as he wrote and waited for his boyfriend's text.

The alpha was talking about how he was missing Earth as he mainly was cooped up in the office reading and signing a bunch of proposals. He was currently in a meeting right now, so they could only text.

The alpha had been saying things like how he was imagining Earth was there with him, and then their talks turned to how it would be nice if the beta could live together with him in Bangkok.

They are talking about the future.

Speaking of the future, Earth had a sudden reminder that he still hadn't told his parents of what had happened in his life. Both are about Kao and their baby. Slowly, the beta typed his reply to his boyfriend about what was on his mind. Thinking that this was the perfect opportunity to talk about these things when the alpha was so high in his imaginary future with him.

[I need to tell my parents about our baby before my belly grows more prominent, and about you too. Can you spare a day next weekend for us to visit them?]

Earth's small smile still hasn't left his face. He was holding back a squeal when he saw the sign that his boyfriend had read his text. His mind started thinking about the outcome of Kao's first meeting with his parents, especially his father. He was actually quite nervous despite showing no hard feelings about telling his parents about his son's current life.

Fifteen minutes passed without an answer from his boyfriend, and Earth started to be worried. He thought that maybe the alpha was suddenly caught on to his meeting after goofing off with him in texting. With that in mind, Earth decided to sleep earlier even though it was still evening. He felt more drained these days, and he wondered why.

Earth definitely needs to remind Kao about that as well next time they are talking.

Meanwhile, across the city, Kao was taken aback by his boyfriend's request to tell the beta's parents about them. He was taking his time to reply because inside, he was literally freaked out about the thought of being formally introduced to people that are so important for his pregnant beta.

Kao had literally stopped the meeting to walk fast towards a specific room, another floor below his. He had barged in inside Mew's office, and as his vice director, Mew was there writing off another document that needed Kao's approval.

Mew looked up from the files he was sorting as he heard the door to his office being banged open. He was pretty surprised to find a worried looking alpha on his doorstep, looking lost to his own thoughts. What an unusual sight to the usually proper alpha who would scold him for being loud and loving to barge inside the other's office.

"I need your advice."

Mew arched a brow. He literally felt that there was something wrong with the other.

Kao walked towards Mew's table, and with a serious face, he said, "Can you tell me what I should do when I meet my future in-laws?"

Mew was looking skeptical at the other like he had probably grown two heads suddenly. "Wait, your boyfriend asked you to meet his family?"

Kao nodded without answering verbally.

Mew sighed; he got a sudden reminder. "Before you could think of what you should do, firstly, I think you should tell the media who your partner really is."
