The next few days after confessing his feelings and informing the alpha about his pregnancy, Earth was getting ready before Kao picked him up. Earth looked at his reflection in the mirror, lifted the thin baggy shirt he was wearing to marvel at the sight of his small bump that hides his baby.

Earth started stroking his stomach softly with one hand while his eyes haven't moved from his own reflection. There was wonder in his eyes every time he remembered that this was real; this was no illusion of his long wish of having children of his own with the person he loves.

"Your existence is a miracle, baby," the beta murmured, a smile softly stretched on his face.

A knock at the door made Earth drop the shirt he was lifting and turn around to face the door. He slowly smiled when he remembered that he was waiting for Kao to show up on his doorstep, and he was reminded what he would be doing today.

Earth walked to the door after he brought his tote bag, holding the wall beside the door for support while adjusting his sandals' velcro. He was feeling rather excited to meet Kao, but he was confused when he found a bouquet of small flowers obstructing his vision as soon as he opened the door.

The bouquet lowered, and Kao could see Earth's face, which turned brighter as the beta spotted him. The alpha couldn't help the smile that also bloomed on his face, "Good morning, sugar," he said eloquently.

Earth's face reddened at the use of endearment the alpha had used. He somehow had rather gotten used to the way Kao called him with those endearments of his, but he was still shy whenever the alpha used them. "Is this for me?" After careful observation, he pointed to the flowers, which turned out to be a bouquet of baby's breath flowers. He knew a thing or two about flowers, so he also understood their meaning.

Kao nodded and handed the bouquet to his boyfriend, whose face had gotten much brighter than when the beta saw him. The alpha softly laughed, "You were happier to see the flowers, I see," he teased.

Earth instantly pouted, knowing that Kao was only making fun of him, but then he looked at the flowers again, "I love baby's breath," he looked up to see the alpha's face. "Did you ask for a specific flower recommendation from the florists?"

Kao's face turned nervous all of a sudden, and he awkwardly smiled, "I may or may not have looked into the internet about specific meanings for them..." He said sheepishly.

Earth laughed and, with one hand, drew the alpha into an embrace, carefully minding his belly and also the flowers in his other hand. Then, he let go of the hug and proceeded to peck Kao's cheek lightly, and he smiled at the stunned look on the alpha's face. "I see you've put so much effort into giving me this bouquet, thank you, Kao," Earth looked at the bouquet again before giggling. "They do portray an innocent look which resembles a little baby," he said.

Kao laughed after coming out of his surprise; slowly, with both hands, he guided the beta's face, which was now looking at him, to place a deep kiss on Earth's forehead.

Earth closed his eyes when he felt a pair of lips on his forehead and had gotten used to this ritual which Kao would always use whenever they met. He opened them again when Kao had pulled back, and he gave the alpha a shy smile.

"Give me your bag, and lock your door, baby," Kao said. His hand went to take Earth's tote bag, which was on the beta's shoulder.

After doing what his boyfriend told him, they entered Kao's car, and the alpha had fastened his seatbelt for him. Earth smiled fondly at the gesture, and he couldn't help but enjoy the treatment the alpha had given him after he knew of his pregnancy.

"What did you bring with you?" Kao felt that his boyfriend's bag didn't have that much content in it. He placed the bouquet in the backseat but gave the bag to Earth at the beta's demand.
