11 | Stop lying to yourself

I woke up with a major headache. Thank god it's Friday and I only have to go to my brothers company and not class. I roll myself off the bed, literally. I hit the floor of my bedroom. What a great way to start the day.

I brushed my teeth and showered to go to the office. After my shower I went to go do my makeup but I noticed something right away. A small red spot on my neck. What the fuck.

I tried to remember last night. I didn't wake up in a strangers bed, nor did a stranger stay in mine. I turned shocked to myself at the memory of me and Noah in the downstairs bathroom. 'Maya you're drunk.' kept ringing in my head. Red color rushed to my cheeks at the way he kept pushing me away instead of to him when I'm drunk.

I finished up getting ready, putting on jeans with a black button up top. I grab my purse and run out of my room.

I saw Sophie and Liam cuddling on the couch when I ran into the living room. "You're in a rush, where are you going?" Sophie asked me. "My brothers company to help him." I waved goodbye and went to the garage.

I took Noah's Ferrari keys and started the car, driving out to the garage. I drove over the gate that was still on the concrete floor from our last argument.

I got out of the car and walked into my brothers company. I saw Chloe immediately and ran up to her. I tugged her into a hug and she hugged me back for a second. "You're early." She said. "I'm just excited." I went into a elevator with Chloe. "So you will be helping Santiago with a meeting for a new building." I nodded as Chloe explained to me what I would do.

Chloe grabbed the doorknob to my brothers office and opened it.  "Ms. Castillo." So formal. Santiago lifted off his chair and walked to me and Chloe. "Thank you." He said. He put a kiss to her cheek and I faked gag.

As I went to sit on my brothers couch, he caught my attention. "No sitting, we have a meeting to get to." He said. He went to pick up a few papers off his desk and gave me 1. Santiago, Chloe, and I all walked to the meeting room in the building. When Santiago opened the door, Chloe walked in first and I followed. My eyes scanned the office room, catching someone.

Noah sat across the table. Why of all people does he have to be here, especially dressed like that? Chloe and Santi walked with me to sit in my chair, which happens to be right in front of Noah. Great. Lauren, Noah's 'assistant' walked in and sat beside him and 2 other men walked in to start the meeting.

One of the men was showing a blueprint of their idea for a new building. I looked down at my version of his blueprint Santi gave me. It was so plain. I didn't like it at all. The building had nothing to bring attention to.

"Is there something wrong, Ms. Castillo?" My last name rolled off Noah's tongue. "Excuse me?" I asked. "You're looking at your paper like you find something wrong with it." He eyes my fingers as they run across my paper. "I don't think I should say." "You're in this meeting so you do have a say." Noah says, leaning across the table towards me.

"I feel the building is plain. It has no character or nothing that can grab people's attention. People love the Castillo building because of the tall structure and glossy paint that makes it stand out from the other buildings around it." I said to the presenter. He sent me a small glare then turned to his blueprint. I looked over to see Noah staring at me with a grin on his face. I proceeded to focus on the rest of the meeting.

The meeting finally finished and I let out a shaky breath. Santi and Chloe both came behind me and grabbed my shoulders. "Your idea was actually good. Looks like they are teaching you something useful in college." Santi said as he took Chloe's hand and exited the meeting room.

"You did good." I turned to see Noah leaning in his chair, staring at me. "Thanks." I said. I started fixing my paper to distract myself. Noah stood from his chair and walked towards me. "Is stealing my car becoming a everyday thing now?" He asked me. "I think it will be." His chuckle sent shivers down my spine.

"I hope you don't mind." I muttered. He leaned down to my ear and his hand went to my spine. "Not at all." He whispered into my ear. His hand flicked my hair behind my ear, revealing his hickey. "Fuck." He whispered. His tongue brushed against the bruise he left on my skin, making me jolt in my seat.

"Noah we shouldn't. Not here." I whispered. "So what you're saying is anywhere else but here?" He said against my skin.

"No." My body was fighting with me. His tongue made me want his touch all over me. He unbuttoned my top, revealing too much cleavage for him. "Stop lying to yourself amor." His nickname for me had me wishing we were at his house.

"What you did was still wrong." I said. "I know and I hate myself for making you that furious at me." He stopped kissing my neck as he whispered into my ear.
"You're such a asshole." "You can call me anything you want as long as I'm forgiven."

I threw my head back to give him more access to my neck. His tongue sucked on the same hickey he left before, darkening it. His hand roamed down my back gripped the side of my waist. "Noah." I moaned out his name. He tugged me closer and turned my chair to face him.

"I want you." He whispered into my ear. "Not Lauren. Not anyone else, only you." He said as his hands ran down my curves.
"Take me." I whispered into his ear. He backed away from me and stared at me. "What?"
"Take me."

Also you may be wondering why I posted early. I start my team camp tomorrow and I have to wake up early in the morning.
My usual schedule for publishing was always 12am (my time) but I do want to get rest for myself so from now on my updates will be at 8pm.
