-Maya-

Noah had this uneasy feeling that was filling the room. "Noah what is it?" I ask in a serious tone. He doesn't answer me.
"Noah what does Quinn have to do with anything?" Noah just stares at me.

"I'm not asking again." I say, crossing my arms over my chest. "Maya, I don't know how to tell you." I don't want to hear anymore from him.
I open the restroom door and walk towards our car.

When Noah opens the driver door, I don't talk. "Maya-." "Drive home." That's all I say. Noah understands my frustration and doesn't bother pushing anymore buttons. He drives home and we stay quite the whole time.

When he opens the door, I rush upstairs and start packing.
"Are you leaving me?" I hear Noah ask from afar. "Why the hell would you think that?" I ask. "You're packing and pissed at me." "I'm packing because I want to go back home because something is obviously wrong with my best friend and you won't tell me." I say to him without looking at him.

His hand sits on top of mine, stoping my movements.
"Have you ever thought that I don't tell you because of your own good?" He says. "Your intentions may be good but I can handle things better than you think." I say, returning back to my packing.

Noah finally takes us to the private jet and we take a 6 hour plane ride back to New York. I try to take a nap on the flight but the back of my mind is invaded with thoughts of Quinn.

I was greeted by Sophie and Elena back at the mansion. "We've missed you!" Sophie yells out. "I've missed you girls too." "How was the trip? Did anything happen?" Elena asks, giving me a smug smile. "We had to come back early." I didn't want to give away too many details.

"I have some business to work on." Noah says. "Okay, I'm going to call Quinn to check on her." "No." Noah's loud response echos in the foyer. "What is your problem with her?" I say. "Maya, trust me. Don't call her." That was the last thing Noah said before walking away.

"Trust him when he won't tell me? Yeah right." I say, pulling out my phone to dial Quinn's number. As I was about to call her, I hear a door beside me open.

"Hey ladies!" Liam calls out from the garage. "Where have you been?" Sophie angrily asks. "We just went for a ride." I walk away from the angry girlfriend pushing her boyfriends buttons.

I take Noah's car keys and drive out of the garage to the road. I text Quinn for her address.

'Hey girl, can I have your address?'
'What for?'
'Just wanting to see you.'
'Okay, it's 5678 Tangled rd.'
'Thank you, on my way!'

I drive to a unknown road. I see a stone house with Quinn's house numbers on the mailbox. I park in front of her house and walk to knock on the door.

"Hey gorgeous!" Quinn eagerly opens the door. "Hey." I say. She pulls me into a huge hug before letting go and letting me inside her house.

"Nice place you have here." I say. "It's okay. I'm waiting until we graduate to get a bigger place." I nod as Quinn explains her house.
"So how are you?" I ask. "I've been fine." But that doesn't explain why Noah was so secretive about her.

"Do you want something to drink or eat?" She asks me. "A water is fine." Quinn nods and goes off to her kitchen.
"So how have things been between you and Noah?" She yells. "They've been fine." Other than him starting to keep things from me. If he can't tell me something about Quinn, what else could he be hiding?

"Has he asked you?" She asks, placing a glass of water on the coffee table in front of me. "Ask me what?" "To marry him or something?" She says. "God no but can I fill you in on a secret?" I say. Quinn sits beside me on the couch. "Any secret."

"I think I might be pregnant." Quinn's facial expression drops. "What makes you think that?" She asks in a passive aggressive tone.
"Well we haven't been wearing a condom recently and I've been having unusual cravings." Quinn looks over to my glass of water. "Maybe it's nothing, drink your water babe."

Quinn takes the glass of water and places it in my hands. "Go, it's make you feel better." She says. I take a sip of the water. As I go to put it back on the table, Quinn stops me.
"It'll probably be best to drink the whole glass."

I bring the glass back to my lips and drink the water. A funny feeling runs over my tongue while I taste every last drop.

When I put the glass back on the table, I feel suddenly heavy. "I think I better go home." I say, trying to pick myself up from the couch.
"Why?" She asks. "I don't feel so well." "You shouldn't drive home feeling like that." Quinn takes my shoulder and hand walks me to a room in her house.

"I should really go home. Noah could get worried." I'm slowly losing my vision. "He shouldn't worry so much. You're safe with me."

I feel my body fighting to stay awake right now and it's losing. My stomach has a gigantic pain hitting me. "Quinn seriously I don't think I should stay." I have to use my last few breaths to talk. "Maya, be quite." She whispers like a mother.

"Maya."
I hear from a distance. I can't make out the voice but it's obviously a man.

"Quinn?" I quickly say her name. All I can see is black. My legs are practically dragging themselves on the floor.
"Put her in the chair!" "Please."

I fall on a hard floor and take a large impact on my upper body. I feel my legs being tugged from my ankles. "Please." I whisper out. "Shut up!" I hear a voice yell out.
