I sat in a limo with Noah while looking out the window at the night sky, seeing every building in New York shining. That's something I've always loved about this crammed city. No matter the chaos, it's still beautiful at night.

"Where are we going?" I asked. "A charity ball." Noah answered. "What kind of charity?" "Orphans." I don't know why but hearing Noah say the meaning behind this event made me feel anxious inside.

He lifted my leg and threw it over his legs. He took his other hand and wrapped it behind me, pulling me towards him. "You look stunning." He whispered to me.

I turned towards Noah and grabbed his arm. "What are you doing?" "I can't touch you?" He asked. "Not in front of my brother! I don't know how he will react if he finds out we're together." Noah placed his hands on my shoulders and brought me closer. "It's fine. Santi is a good guy."

I went to sit next to Chloe at our table. "Thank you everyone for attending this charity event." The announcer says on the stage. "As a orphan myself, this kind of thing is very special to my heart." I looked to my side to see Chloe comforting Santi, which makes me think she knows why are parents aren't here with us today.

The auction starts as people start betting money on different vacation places and prizes.
"Next, a weekend vacation stay at a private villa in Monaco donated by Mr. and Mrs. Blake Fox." The announcer says. "I've always wanted to go to Monaco." I whispered to Noah. "I can take you there myself." He says. "How much do you have in your account?" I ask. "More than I can count."

"$5,000" "5,000, do I see 6,000?" "$8,000" "$10,000" "10,000 do I see 11,000?" Everyone was betting on more money than the other and I wanted that vacation more than anything.
"$50,000"

Noah turned to my surprised, as well as Chloe and Santi. "$50,000! Going once. Going twice. Sold to the young lady in white!" Everyone clapped as I lowered my sign down.

"Where do you have that kind of money?" Santi asked. "Noah's bank account." I said. I felt Noah slip his hand on my lower back and apply pressure.

"So, Monaco?" Noah asked me. "Just you and me." I said while I pointed my sign to him.
"You're making me fall more at your feet as each day passes." He whispered into my ear.

I brushed the feeling building inside of me off since we are in front of my brother.
