Chapter 15 - Befriending Amelie

~⁕3rd POV⁕~

A woman with vermillion haired kept (y/n) in Iruma-nii still in her grasp a bit harshly, after a few seconds pass, she's still keep glaring at them 'is she angry?..' (y/n) thought worried "I'm sorry-/ we apologize-" she then change her hold onto their arms and pushed them in arms length.

'are they trying to make me fall for them?! as I thought, this is dangerous I mustn't take my eyes off them!'  Amelie thought looking at the twins making them nervous at the look.

'we should bow our head and apologize!/she's angry we should say sorry!' the twins thought before bowing with Amelie randomly imitating their actions which made the two siblings confused 'why is she also bowing??' 'why did she also bowed??' 'what is it doing?... don't tell me it's trying to hold my hand to woo me?!' all of them were confused of each others actions.

*Flop!* a book fell out off Amelie clothes and drop to the floor, catching all the attention... it was the shoujo manga she was previously reading!!

Iruma broke out of Amelie's hold to pick the fallen manga up which made her panic and broke her grasp on (y/n), bringing her attention on the manga Iruma is currently holding 'd-dammit!' she thought before stuttering out "th-that is!..".

"so-.. so nostalgic! (n/n)-chan look here, it's "first love memory"! we used to read this every week!" Iruma's statement shocked Amelie and panic (y/n) since she know they're in the netherworld! a place where demons live, not humans! 'as much this is a nice moment there is a demon in front of us, why did you say that nii-chan!! gyah!' (y/n) sweating a bit from the situation.

'it reacted to the forbidden book!' Amelie observed Iruma, who had a happy smile on "as I thought you are-" "the confession under the sakura tree was especially good! it was super important to bring Rin, Kakeru, and Ayaka closer together..." Iruma said, cutting off Amelie.

once Amelie heard what Iruma said she look at him shock "you.. you can read the book?" she asked "of course! me and (n/n)-chan here can! by the way, why is it here?-.." Iruma now realized what he had done 'this is the demon world!'.

'idiot brother...now you just realized it? now we gonna get eaten..' (y/n) thought, getting disappointed at her naive "older" brother before slowly getting closer to him awaiting for the vermillion haired woman reaction.

"YOU GUYS CAN READ IT RIGHT?!" the tall female went closer to us, making me and nii-chan surprise at her outburst "y-yeah" we both answered "th-then, what does this say?" she pointed to one of the panels texts.

"[Aorora Kakeru and Mizuki Ayaka, a transfer student]" we both read out loud for her to hear "-! then, here?" she pointed to another text "[ba-thump]" "here?" "[squeeze]" we finished reading all of the texts the tall female pointed when she suddenly grabbed our collars.

"I'm bringing you guys with me" she stated with a cold glare before dragging us 'this is bad! this is bad! this is bad! this is bad-..?' 'did she found out we're humans?!-..?' 'huh?' we both were confused of the set up in the room that seems to be an office.

'what the?' 'are we seeing this right?' me and Iruma were currently holding each side of the shoujo manga with snacks set up and the tall female is sitting infront of us "read" she said.

"huh?" we let out "please read it to me!" the lady said it more clearly "this?" Iruma-nii ask "what else!" she resorted back

I cleared my throat and began reading Rin's line "[I'm not gonna make it! I'm late, I'm late!!] [my name is Hoshino Rin, 16] [no wait is this a date?!]-" "hold on" the lady stop me from continuing on.

"what is it?" I questioned her "what's a date?" she said to me "well- er.. its when two people who like each other a lot go out together, like a romantic meeting!" I explain, satisfying her curiosity.

"[I hope you know I totally hate you!]" Iruma read the rival's text "wh- is this woman some kind of demon!?" the lady exclaims, angered at the rival's statement "I guess you could say that..." Iruma said to her.

~⁕3rd POV⁕~

many, many minutes has passed by then while the three individuals in a room enjoyed each others company not noticing the dark sky.

"[...- the end]" (y/n) and Iruma both said the last text of the last page of the manga "ah! it's already pitch black outside!" (y/n) startling the others in the room "wah! so many missed calls.." Iruma open his phone, only to be spammed by many missed calls notifications.

hearing what Iruma stated out, (y/n) also checked her phone to be also be spammed by many missed call notifications, mostly from Tamashi "ah.. we forgot about Tamashi, he must have been home by now since he didn't barge in here" (y/n) utter out.

while they were looking at their phone, it was snatched by Amelie and started to push buttons before giving their phone back to them "I registered myself in both of your contacts, so if I call answer it immediately and if I summon you, go alone! you both only no one else okay?!" Amelie said to the blue haired twins.

"farewell" Amelie bid her goodbye but before she could leave (y/n) introduced herself "um- I'm (y/n)!" Iruma followed "and I'm Iruma! may we have your name miss?".

Amelie turned around to face them "it's Amelie" she said to them after she said her name we bid her farewell and walk out to go home.

'well that was fun... good thing it's now going to be the weekends so we can have some rest' (y/n) thought looking forward the next day 'what exactly happened?' Iruma sweat drop.

At Amelie's office

~⁕Amelie's POV⁕~ 

'it's clear to me now!... they're certainly humans!' I thought, looking at the numerous bookshelves of forbidden texts 'I must take extra precautions! yes, as the student council president' I planned out.

"I need to be more careful about this! it's to soon to jump to conclusions!" I shouted out flustered before closing the hidden room's entrance "at least we're finished done reading first love memories!" I stated out

while preparing to bed, Asmodues suddenly send a text to Iruma "what did he say nii-chan?" Iruma-nii look at me before going back to his phone to read the message "uh wait.. {Azz-kun: It appears the student council is looking for you and (y/n)-sama regarding to the tree and the student council president wants to talk to you} he said" Iruma-nii finished.

"huh? the student council president? they wanted to meet us?" I said in confusion "are we going to get in trouble?" Iruma-nii said in worry.

"well let's dwell on it tomorrow, for now we should rest" I advice nii-chan "you right, goodnight imouto" Iruma-nii said to me, tucking himself to bed "goodnight nii-chan" I said to him back, turning off the lights before tucking myself to bed.
