Chapter 20 - Helping hand

"You want to raise your ranks...?" Asmodues said, shock at our revelation "Yeah.. well at least up to rank 2, "Beth" and.." I said while petting Clara who's laying down my lap "we thought that you could give us a hand on teaching us along side with Tamashi-kun, so..." Iruma-nii pause and nudged my side a bit giving me a hint which I caught on and nod "will you help us, Azz-kun?" we said in unison.

"Waah!? Of course I'll do with you! There's no way that rank 1, "Aleph" would be accepting! I was becoming numb of our classmates who lacks ambition, but moving ranks is a demon's pride!" Asmodues exclaimed 'Our classmates lacks ambition? Does that include, Sabnock..?' I thought in confusion "but that aside, let's move up the ranks together! Now, let us prepare!" Asmodues stood up from his seat "S-sure.." Iruma replied "Prepare for what?" Clara asked.

"What else? To prepare Iruma-sama and (y/n)-chan to rise up to the highest rank of Yodh(10) and then reign over all of Babirus!" Asmodues declared at the top of his voice "WHAT?!" Iruma and Tamashi shouted out in disbelief with (y/n) thought for a bit after hearing Asmodues statement before let out a "what?" in confusion 'I'm okay with (y/n) having to achieve the highest ranking but as much I am honored to help her.. That's just mindless! How am I going to have time with (y/n) if she's going to be always busy, dumbass?!' Tamashi wanted to shoat that to Asmodues but it wasn't the best time to do so for they have gained a bunch of attention after Asmodues's declaration.

"Holy crap! He just said something crazy!"  "Another legends' about to be born!".

"I'm sure (y/n)-san could do it!" Oni said to her dragon friend, Gaako. Oni looked at the person she admired since "that day" with hearts in her eyes "Sure, sure" Gaako spoke out her half-hearted agreement before she glanced at the infatuated teen beside her.

"One rank-up, please!" Clara said to Come-Come "leave." he sternly responded back to her.

"Azz-kun, we're fine with being rank Beth.." (y/n) said to Asmodues nervously, the stares of other student's made her stiff "H-huh? But.." Asmodues thought for a bit with doubt written on his face 'I'm sure she has some profound reason I could never fathom' he convinced himself before kneeling to the floor and apologizing to Iruma and (y/n) "I apologize of my presumptuousness".

"Er, You don't have to worry about! Also could we stop standing ou-" Iruma was stop from ending his sentence by Asmodues speaking out "Now, Iruma-sama and (y/n)-chan are going to prepare to rise up to the rank of Beth. Make way!" Asmodeus announced loudly to the crowd that surrounds Iruma's group with (y/n) being hidden by Tamashi's figure and Clara being near Come-Come's store.

"Why Beth?"  "Dang, he suddenly brought his expectations down"  "This is still gonna be crazy"  "I'm devi looking forward to it!"  many responses were heard throughout the crowd before dispersing into different groups.

"Wh-What should I do? If (y/n)-san goes up to rank Beth, then we won't be in the same rank anymore" Oni anxiously said to Gaako "Well, you could move up, too" Gaako answered her worried problem while still finishing up her meat on the bone.

At the back of a crowd, Keroli is seen clenching her hands, her expression being difficult to read and at another place in the back of the crowd far from her position stood another classmate of (y/n), whom have watched the scene played infront of him in great amusement "hmm.. Sound fun" said Lead before going to somewhere to do something that he thought in mind.
