It's been weeks since the wall fell and the walkers got in. We've been building up the wall making it stronger, putting up sharp pole of wood outside the gate. Everything is going amazing, although we lost good people. Guess Deanna was right, her people were never ready.
I get up and take a shower. I walk back out into my bed room and see Daryl sitting on the bed. "Me and Rick are going out today by the way" He says. I start getting dressed, "already? Guess we do need a few things." I hear him get off the bed and arms wrap around me. "We just want to adventure out, maybe I can find another one of those cameras for you." I smile and turn around, "good I can take more pictures of you." I say pecking his lips. He groans "the camera isn't for pictures of me." "but your so damn cute i can't help it." I say picking up one of the photos of us together. I put my shoes on, and get my sword. I walk out of the house with him, we make our way to Ricks. He is on the porch with Michonne and Judith. "You ready?" He asks Daryl. Daryl nods, Rick hands Judith to Michonne and heads to the car. "Be safe" I yell to them "always am" I hear Daryl day back. "Y/N do you think you could take Judith I have watch duty." I turn to Michonne. "Sure you know I don't mind." I say smiling as she hands Judith to me. "Hi little one." I say poking her stomach, she giggles and clings to my neck. "Why don't we take a walk." I walk around and see Maggie and Glenn talking, I decide to walk up to them. "Hey Guys" they turn around and greet me. "Your on baby watch?" Glenn asks laughing. "Guess I am" "you'll be a good godmother." Maggie says. "And y'all will be good parents." They both smile, the day go by fast. I give Judith to Carl and tell them goodnight. I can't really sleep so I walk over to Rosita who is watching the gate. "Hey Y/N" "hey you don't mind if I keep watch with you. I can't sleep." "No I don't mind." About that time we hear a car pull up and lights flicker, we open the gate and it's Rick and Daryl. They come in and stop I look in the car and they have someone else "who's this?" I ask. "Explain later we're going to Denise jump in." Rick says so I get on the car and we go. Rick knocks on the door till they answer. "Sorry to wake you." Rick says. "Who's this?" "Come on man he's heavy. Oh that thing, uh didn't work out. It's this assholes fault sorry." Daryl says as we bring him inside and out him on the bed. We check him out then get him to the house we put everyone in and lock the door. Rick goes to his house, "you really gonna stay out here all night?" I ask Daryl. "Someone's got to watch him." "Well I'll stay with you." I say sitting down beside him. "Wanna tell me what happened?" I ask laying my head on his shoulder. "Found a truck full of stuff that asshole took it from us. Found him beat him and then truck rolled into a lake." I laugh slightly. "So you had a day huh?" "Guess you could say that. How was your day?" "Fine I mainly walked around and played with Judith. God does she love playing with that little ball she has." I say laughing. He laughs too "I thought you hated kids." "Maybe their growing on me especially her and soon Maggie's." It goes silent. "Y/N you ever think about having kids?" He asks. I shrug my shoulders "nope I'll probably end up like my mom so no point." "Don't say that." "It's true Daryl."
I see Denise walk out and grab us because The guy is missing. We run to ricks and pull our guns out and point it at him sitting on the stairs. "You said we should talk. So let's talk." Rick says to him. We bring him into the dining room and talk to him. "So how'd you get out?" "Two people can't cover two exits or third floor windows when their Stuck together. Knots untie and locks get picked. I checked out your Arsenal. Never seen anything like it, you're well equipped but your provisions are low. Very low for the amount of people you have. Look we got off to a bad start but we're on the same side, the living side. You and Rick had every reason to leave me out there, but you didn't. I'm from a place Thats a lot like this one. Part of my job is searching out other settlements to trade with. I took your truck because my community needs things, and both of you look like trouble. I was wrong, your good people. And this is a good place, I think our communities may be in a position to help each other." Jesus says. "Do you have food?" Glenn asks. "We've started to raise livestock. We scavenge, we grow." "Tell us why we should believe you." Rick says. "I'll show you. If we take a car, I can take you back home in a day, and you can all see for yourselves who we are and what we have to offer." "What you're looking for more settlements. You mean you're already trading with other groups?" Maggie asks. "Your world is about to get a whole lot bigger."
