Four took his bag to the hole where Blockzilla lived.

"Blockzilla, I brought you some food." he said, no emotion in his voice.

From deep, deep, down, Blockzilla let out a 'gah!' and appeared in front of him.

"Blockzilla hungry!"

"I know, that's why I have these!"

Giving the food to the huge lizard, they sat in silence for a while, until Four felt a nudge behind him.

"Huh?"

"Four hungry?"

"Oh, no thank you. I'm okay."

A harder nudge sent him to his feet.

"Four sad," Blockzilla whined, "Me play with you!"

"I am sad, but playing won't help.."

"Why Four sad?"

"Everybody is scared of me when I make choices. And they won't tell me why!"

"Why friends scared of you?"

"I don't know.." Four whispered, more to himself than the giant friendly monster he was currently leaning against. "I don't know.." he repeated.

"Blockzilla want to help you be happy."

"Thanks. I don't know how you can help.."

"Blockzilla help you find out! Gah!"

"Y-you will?" A teary-eyed Four asked.

"Blockzilla will find out, Blockzilla want to help!"

"Thank you so much Blockzilla!"

Blockzilla did not know much about hugs and how they worked, but it made her sad to see her friend like this.

"Blockzilla will go ask other friends."

"Okay, I have to go now! Bye bye!" Four sniffled, picking Squarey up, "Tell me what you find out, okay!?"

"Blockzilla will!"

One and Two liked spending time together.

They liked going for walks.

They liked sitting under trees.

They liked picking flowers, (Two usually wove them into flower crowns.)

They also liked to be undisturbed as they had picnics.

Which was why they were disappointed when Blockzilla had emerged from the ground directly under them.

"And I made extra cheesy sandwiches too.." Two mumbled as their lunch disappeared under the dirt.

"Hi friends!" Blockzilla yelled.

"Hello there, Blockzilla! What are you doing here?" One waved to the oversized reptilian.

"Blockzilla need to ask question."

"What is it?"

"Why friends scared of Four?"

"What do you mean? We're not scared of him."

"Four said friends scared of Four when Four make choices."

Two shuddered, "Well.. we have a good reason.."

"Yeah! A really good reason!" One added.

"It's just, when he.. can't decide.. he.. does this.. thing, and he splits into some nasty trouble makers.." Two whispered, cautiously looking around as if the 'nasty trouble makers' would jump from anywhere.

"They call themselves the Terrible Twos. And we, well, thought Four knew that." One pointed out, obviously scared of them.

"Oh, Blockzilla tell Four!"

"NO!" The two frazzled numbers called.

Blockzilla stopped her decent into the ground, and rose up slowly.

"Why?"

"It's better if Four doesn't know." Two said.

"But Four scared, Four needs to know."

"If you don't know your number bonds, you're less likely to make them. So the less Four knows about them, the better."

"Blockzilla said that Blockzilla will help Four, so Four can be happy."

"That's okay. Just tell him that we just wanted to help him with choices, because we know how hard it is."

"But One, that'll be lying!" Two cried.

"I know, but do you want the Terrible Twos back?"

"I.. well.."

"Do you?"

"..No.."

"So we can't tell him. I want to tell him too, but it's for the best."

"Okay."

Blockzilla dug her way back to Four, pondering if she should tell him the truth or not. She didn't want troublemakers around more, but she said she'd help him.

Blockzilla found him waiting for her at her hole.

"Didja find out!? Do you know what my friends aren't telling me?"

"Yes, Blockzilla knows."

Four jumped in the air, and spun around with Squarey.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You're a good friend Blockzilla!"

"Four, friends are not scared of you."

"What do you mean?"

"Friends are scared of nasty troublemakers."

"Who?"

"..."

"Who are the troublemakers?"

"..Blockzilla don't know."

"Oh," Four's face fell, only to brighten up as he hugged Blockzilla again. "Thank you! I'll figure the rest out myself! I knew I could trust you!"

Blockzilla's heart broke a bit at the last sentence, knowing full well that she had withheld information from him. Four had done nothing to deserve that, he had placed his full trust in her and she had betrayed him.

"Bye bye Blockzilla, I have to go home now." Four interrupted, slicing through her train of thought like a blade.

Blockzilla nearly choked on her sentence.

"Bye bye, Four!
