Four was walking, he didn't know where, but it was dark.

"H-hello?" he called, reaching for anything for him to hold on to.

"Is anybody there?"

No response.

Suddenly, light flashed everywhere, the whole world brightened.

Four uncovered his eyes, hoping that someone was there.

"Guys? Anybody?"

"Hello, Four!"

Jumping a little and turning around, he saw Two standing there with a bright smile.

"Oh, Two, you scared me. What happened?"

"You don't know?"

Four shook his head, and Two started to laugh.

"What's so funny?"

After his giggles died down, he grinned and replied.

"Oh, you just tell funny jokes, that's all!"

"What joke?"

"That you don't know what happened, I did not see that one coming."

"I wasn't joking, what happened, and where am I?"

Two giggled again, more sinister than the other one.

"Four, stop, I can't breathe. You're in Numberland, silly!"

"Oh."

"And you fell for my trick, remember?"

"Trick?"

"Yeah, I told Blockzilla that there's nothing wrong. And you believed it!"

"What do you mean?"

"There's nasty troublemakers! You thought it was someone else."

"Then I was wrong?"

Two laughed once more, almost kneeling over.

"Of course! You're the nasty troublemakers!"

"Me?"

Four glared at Two, fists clenched.

"I'm not!"

Cocking his head and frowning, Two pointed at him.

"Yes you are! You're the Terrible Twos!"

"The Terrible Twos?"

"Yep!" Two started to dance around him, singing 'Terrible Twos' over and over.

"Two I think that you're sick."

"Me?Sick?" He laughed again, "No, you're the sick one, you hurt everybody at least once."

Four gasped, taking a step forward.

"No I don't. I won't hurt anyone."

Two shook his head, taking Four's hand, and running towards the magic mirror.

"Two, why are we here?"

"I'm gonna show you!"

"Show me wh-"

He was cut off by the mirror flashing, showing him various moments of him splitting into the Terrible Twos and coming back again after they did whatever they wished.

"See? You are the troublemakers!"

"B.. but how did you?.. how did you know? How come I didn't?! Why didn't you tell me!?"

Two shrugged, a smile on his face showing.

"It might've been for the best."

"Well it wasn't!"

Two started to giggle.

"Oh, it's funny now!?" Four exclaimed, upset by what he'd just learned from what he called his friend.

Two didn't answer, his laughing growing louder.

"You think I care?" He called through his laughs, "Your feelings are the last thing me, One, Three, Five, or anyone else on the planet would think about."

Collapsing on the ground in laughter, Two continued.

"You shouldn't be so naive."

That did him in, Four's eyes started to water, tears springing to his face. Two's hysterical laughs didn't help either.

"You're my friend Two, please.. why are you doing this?"

Two stopped laughing, leaning in close to his face.

"If you really want to know.."

His expression immediately hardened.

"Then find out."

Four awoke, gasping for air and at the same time gasping in surprise.

"Four, it's okay, you're okay, no ones gonna hurt you." Nine spoke softly, patting his friend on the head.

"N-Nine?"

"Mhm, it's me, now calm down."

But Four had believed the dream too much to calm down, and he remembered what 'Two' had said.

"Then find out."

Grabbing Nine's arm, he whispered.

"Where's Two?"
