Four woke up feeling different, maybe even a little sick.
"That's not right. What could I have possibly done to get sick? Right Squarey?"
Squarey just barked.
"Do you even understand me?"
Squarey barked twice.
"I don't know what that means.."
While he was preparing breakfast, his head suddenly felt like somebody was slamming a sledgehammer into it. Collapsing onto the kitchen floor, he gripped the counter searching for some kind of steadiness in the swirling room.
Four, can you hear us?
"Can I?.. what.."
Listen.
"My head hurts.."
Four, listen!
"S-squarey!" He wailed, "Squarey!"
The puppy came running to her sobbing owner.
"G-get help.. I.. can't.."
Just sleep, Four.
"Please!"
Nobody will come, Squarey can't open the door.
"St-stop!"
Just trust us, just sleep, and it'll all go away.
"N..no.."
Four tried to shake his head, to banish the strange but familiar voices. However, he only succeeded in making his headache ten times worse.
"Sq..squares...a-are strong." But it sounded to forced to be strong.
Just sleep. No one can help, you can't even trust them.
"My friends are caring and loving! I can trust them with anything!"
If you could, then why are you doubting them?
Four's next argument died on his tongue. Why is he doubting his friends, can he really trust them?
"No! I can trust them! I CAN!" He yelled, narrowly avoiding hitting his head on the ground.
He heard banging, but he was too far into the inner battle in his mind to mind it too much.
You can't, nobody is telling you the truth, not even Blockzilla.
"STOP!"
Just wait til the truth gets out, all of your so called 'friends' will betray you. We'll be the only ones you can truly trust.
Four cried out for help, trying to get his head to stop hurting so much.
"Please..please..please..."
We're right here, they will betray you.
"No.."
With that, the aching in his head faded, leaving him on the floor dazed and confused.
"Four!"
He looked to find Nine and Eight standing there.
"We heard you screaming for help, so we came to see what's wrong."
"Wh..what?"
"It's okay Four, you can trust us," Nine assured.
Four froze as he remembered what the strange voices had said.
They will betray you.
Four was unsure of who to trust at this point.
He felt so tired.
Nine and Eight could only yell as Four blacked out.
