Fifteen packed her things in a suitcase, (Which was much easier to do when you wear no clothes.) placing a extra set of lanterns as a last resort.
"That should be everything.."
"Okay."
Five had been sitting on the bed, her grip tight on the comforter beneath her.
Fifteen set down her suitcase.
"Are you feeling alright? Do you need water?"
"No.. its just.. I wish I could go with you.. but its too dangerous... but.. One, Two, and Four are still out there. The only one I have now is Three, and she wants. no.. NEEDS them back."
Fifteen sighed and set a hand on her shoulder.
"I know its hard on you, and I can't promise that I'll find everyone, but I can promise is that I'll do the absolute best I can to bring them here safely."
"I know you will, you're Fifteen."
The agent winked and headed out the door.

Twenty-one was explaining the importance of keeping the lighthouse going to the other two.
"Now, every hour you both have to recharge it, but do exactly what we did last time. Do not open your eyes until you've turned away from the light, and then?"
"Make sure that we never do it alone." Fourteen and Twenty-eight affirmed.
"Great! Now next time you see me we'll be back with our friends."
"I hope so."
"Don't be so negative Fourteen, everything is gonna be okay." Twenty-eight gave him a one-armed hug.
"Right."
Twenty-one smiled and went to the entrance, seeing Seventeen was already there with Thirteen and Twenty-six.
"You guys ready?"
"Maybe? I might mess up something.. Why am I even on this team?"
"Because Fifteen needed another agent and you happened to be around...It's a miracle that you turned out to be the best." Seventeen sighed, "The same thing happened with Twenty-six."
"What can I say? I'm.."
He split apart.
"Double Thirtee-"
They were cut off by Fifteen holding a hand in front of them.
"Not right now, we need to go."
Twenty-one nodded and slipped to the top of the stairs and opening the door. Ready, as always, to take on the unknown.
"Bye bye everyone!"
She smiled as she got a chorus of cheerful byes in return.

Four sat on the kitchen floor, holding Squarey close.
"It's been awhile. You think they're okay?"
Squarey rolled over for a tummy rub.
"You're right, what am I so worried about? They might be opening the door right now."
He heard the hatch slide open and two blocks slide down and land.
"Well that was fast. Come on! Let's go say hi."
"Wha?.. Where are?.. Whoa."
Four froze, that was a Two voice for sure.
"Hey One look, it looks just like Four's house! That's funny."
"Just gimme.. a moment... for the room... to stop spinning.."
Four pressed himself to the wall, his breaths quickening.
"Why?" He whispered to nobody in particular, "Why me? Why do I keep running into these people? It doesn't make sense!"
Two noticed Squarey.
"Oh, hello Squarey. How are you here?"
He picked her up, giving her a good pat. One soon got up and joined him.
"If Squarey is here, wouldn't that mean.."
"Leave intruders!"
Two gasped as he dropped the little puppy in shock.
"Oops! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"I said, leave intruders!"
"Four?" One said, "What's this all about? We're not intruders. You know us, we're friends."
Four shook his head, taking a menacing step forwards.
"You are not my friends, so get it through your heads! You think I'd trust you anymore? For what you've done?!"
"But, we didn't do anything." One was confused, "Why are you so mad?"
"Oh, Two didn't tell you?"
Two stepped backwards.
"What? Tell me what?" She looked to Two in confusion, "What happened?"
".. One... please don't leave me too... You're all I have left.."
"What happened with Four? Why isn't he our friend?"
"Please Four, don't make me tell her.... you know I don't want to.."
Four smirked, "It all his fault."
"Four? She... she might leave me.. You know that.. I don't wanna be alone."
"Tell her Two, tell her what you said to me, tell her how you tore my feelings to pieces and ran away like a coward! Tell her!"
"Don't yell at Two! He's my friend! And you are too Four." One jerked on the orange numberblock's arm, "Something must've happened, we need to get him to remember."
Two took a deep breath preparing himself.
"It was me. It was my fault One.."
"W...what?"
Two couldn't keep it inside any longer.
"I told hin about the Terrible Twos, he.. he said I lied to him and that he can't trust us anymore."
"WHAT?!"
"...I was so so so so sorry, but it was too late and now he was gone and then everyone was asking me about it and I got scared. I'm so sorry.."
One spread her hands, gesturing to the room. "You didn't think to tell me this until now!? Why would you even tell him? What did you EXPECT TO HAPPEN?!"
"I really didn't want to lie again to him One please understand!" Two kept babbling on, as if a dam had broken and he could do nothing to stop it, "Then I ran away and almost fell off a cliff, I wished I did. I wish that nobody was there to catch me. I deserve... I don't deserve to be here.. and-"
"You're right! You don't deserve to be here! So leave now before I throw you out!" Four interrupted, growing very tired about the problem at hand.
"Four please, there's something scary out there! I can't go back up! One, you understand, right?" Two stood there quivering like a leaf.
One only turned away, "Why would you do this?.."
"You can, and you are. Whether you like it or not." Four had started walking closer to One and Two, ready to catch and toss them back up the hatch with the darkness without a second thought.
Then, the hatch opened again.
Four smiled.
The Terrible Twos are back.
