Fourteen and Twenty-eight had been staying up all night in order to keep recharging the lighthouse.
"I'm surprised nobody asked us anything when we said we'd spend the night here without any reason." Fourteen yawned, stretching his arms wide, "You'd think they'd be curious enough to at least ask."
Twenty-eight stopped petting the ant that she was looking at and put a hand to where her chin would be in thought.
"I guess they were so worried about the rest of our friends that they didn't think about it too much."
"Yeah, you might be right.."
He turned back to the stars.
An hour went by, and Fourteen slowly made his way to the light, Twenty-eight lingering behind.
"Okay. Just as normal."
"Right!"
They both simultaneously placed their hands on the glass wall of the light, closing their eyes as they recharged it.
Fourteen, however, could feel himself slipping, his eyes being closed providing him with enough darkness to feel tired.
He surmised he could just sleep a little bit..
Until the light charges..

Twenty-eight finished the charging routine and turned around to slip on the sunglasses that every secret agent had.
Thirteen only wore his twice, but the other time he did, it was the middle of the night, he ended up stumbling through the training exercise and making it with 100 percent.
"Well, that last one was a doozy, huh Fourteen?"
There was no reply from the double lucky skater, she only heard slightly heavy breathing.
"Do you hear that?" She whispered, "I think there's something here."
When she still recieved no reply, she turned around to see him glowing rainbow, slightly levitating off the ground.
Twenty-eight, panicked, took hold of her friend and shook him harshly, "Wake up Fourteen! Let go of the light!"
Fourteen's eyes snapped open and he moved so fast, she didn't notice the swift kick aimed for her midsection until it was too late.
The attack sent her crashing to the ground, her sunglasses coming off her face and bouncing out of reach.
To bewildered to notice, Twenty-eight opened her eyes.
And immediately regret it.
Pain exploded everywhere on her face, the overwhelming white white white- flooding her vision and banishing the rest of anything that wasn't light.
It was one-hundred times more painful than looking at the sun. She could even feel her eyes fail her slowly.
The pain had become so great, Twenty-eight couldn't help but let out a pained scream.

Fourteen awoke to an unknown sensation on his arm, causing him to freak out.
The best thing to do would be to fight off the assailant, or assailants, if he wasn't alone.
Without even thinking, Fourteen's body seemed to move on its own. He let his instincts take control, normally, its just his luck trying to protect him.
But soon after, he heard Twenty-eight scream.
This snapped his fight or flight stage off, making him question and wonder what was going on in the fist place.
His pattern-loving friend was sprawled on the floor, broken sobs racking her frame.
"Dudette? Are you okay? Why are you crying? What happened?"
Twenty-eight flinched away for a few seconds before leaning against him.
"M-my eyes.. I-I-I can't see.. there's white everywhere."
"How did you even?.. Oh. Did I do it?"
She nodded, scrubbing her eyes with great vigour, as if she could rub the sight back into it.
"I-I don't know- I don't.. My glasses fell off.. I looked- It hurts.."
Fourteen looked to the smashed sunglasses on the ground a good distance away.
I'm sorry. I- I panicked.. I thought you were attacking me."
"I can't see. Fourteen? Why can't I see?"
He looked around for any explanation, but he found none.
"I-I don't know... C'mon. Let's g-go to Three, she's a doctor."
Twenty-eight only whimpered. Tears running from her
sightless eyes as she let he friend lead her down the stairs.

Purpletwo walked to Four smirking at their unexpected guests.
"So.. what do we have her?"
"The extra, and his little friend." Bluetwo mocked, "What brings you down here?"
"Cut to the chase, you two are villains for doing what you did to Four!" One shouted, placing her foot down.
"What did we do then?" Bluetwo looked less then concerned and more.. dismissive of the whole situation.
"I.. I don't know! But I'm going to find out!"
Four shook his head.
"They did nothing to me One. It was all Two. It was his fault, but they helped me. They've made me feel better about myself, more than any of you liars ever did!"
"Four please understand! I'm sorry!"
"Quiet, extra!" Purpletwo snapped, "Your words mean nothing!"
Two looked down to the ground, all hope lost for the poor numberblock.
Bluetwo giggled, and turned to Four, "It's all up to you if we throw them out or keep them prisoner here."
Four felt the bubbling urge to throw them out and leave them out there alone like they did him, but he knew how the darkness worked, they wouldn't last a second at this point.
"Keep them here, make sure they can't escape either."
"Okie dokie, there you have it folks! Get on with it!'
Four felt a little bad, seeing the hurt looks on his friend's faces, but they were relieved that they weren't sent back out.
"They should thank you, if it were me, I'd have thrown them out there without a second thought. I'm pretty sure they'd have done the same if the positions were switched. At least you're at a level much better than them."
Four smiled, at least some people still thought high of him.
