Eighteen marched to Nineteen's room, anger and worry building up with each step.

He was about to knock when Nineteen opened the door.

"Uh.." She awkwardly scooted past him, as he still had his hand up, "You need something?"

"Yes!" Eighteen shouted, face full of hurt, "Twenty-three, y'know, the one I helped figure out? Well, he said that you told him not to come to me for help! Why's that?"

Nineteen scoffed.

"Because you aren't good help to have. You should know that."

"What do you mean!? I helped figure him out!"

"Yeah, but did you really do the figuring out?"

"At some points!"

"Which means you didn't."

"C'mon Nineteen! If that was how it worked than nobody figured anyone out!"

"Still, not very good help if you're trying to appreciate someone!"

"Do you know how much I helped when Twenty-three asked me to?"

Nineteen frowned, "Why did he still ask you? I told him not to."

"Nineteen, you do know he doesn't know I'm Eighteen, right?"

"Really?"

"Really! It's a shame because, he would've told you how useful I really am!"

"Okay, useful! How did you help?"

"I told him to throw a surprise appreciation party. That would cheer him up, and it would help everybody else wind down and brighten up too!"

"Sure, I'm pretty sure all you're gonna do then is brag about how you're a super rectangle!"

The last sentence confused him.

"Why? I haven't mentioned that in a while.."

"Yeah.."

Nineteen was close to crying, furiously trying to keep it together.

"Why would I do that?"

"Because you did that to me!"

"Huh?"

"Soon as I got here the first thing you did was all these cool, fast, super rectangle things! You made me think I could do that!"

"But you can't."

"No I couldn't! So you know how I felt when you went around the whole time, showing off how cool your rays were?!"

"I-"

"No! Because you don't care about anyone else's feelings! You didn't help me! And I won't let you do it to Twenty!"

"S-so.. th-that's why you said no?"

Both blocks stopped their argument and saw Twenty-three standing there, looking anything but glad.

"Twenty-three?... I promise you, I'm not like that anymore, I was still learning about the world around me.. Twelve didn't tell me about feelings yet. You understand, right? I was nice to you."

Twenty-three struggled to keep his usually under control emotions in place.

"Y-you were mean?"

Eighteen looked down.

"Yeah.. before I got better.. I didn't know that my actions could really hurt others, for some reason, I had to learn that.."

"Couldn't figure it out for himself, you just had to decimate my self-esteem before getting all mature." Nineteen's face was covered in angry tears, she didn't care to wipe them at this point, "You never once even said sorry!"
