First night in Los Angeles

Lena's: POV
After Lena got showered and dressed
She's sitting at the table in her hotel suite. Writing her speech for tomorrow's conference, she's doing it on her laptop. She has eaten a light meal, she's typing away that she doesn't hear her cell ringing
Lena reaches over and see it's her wife calling she smiles and answers the phone. Hey baby how are you
I was just looking at our wedding album, how was your flight Stef says
We took off on time actually and before you ask did l eat anything
I ordered a from room service
I'm busy trying to get this speech written. Lena replies, Damn woman
Are you psychic how did you know that's what I was going to say
Stef replies, because I know how over protective of me when I don't eat properly. Lena States, this house is lonely without you Stef says sadly
I know babe I don't think we're ever been apart for days, Lena said
I can't sleep in our bed without you in it Stef Stated. Baby Thursday will be here before you know it, Lena tells her wife. Love that seems so far away
Before I forget your doctor called and left a message about some test results
Stef responded. Yeah I went for my appointment l told l've been feeling nausea lately so she ran a few blood test. I'm sure that's she's calling me about, l probably call her in the morning before the conference starts
Lena knows how much Stef wants a baby. That's one of the reasons why they decided to try again, Lena feels if she can't bare a child it must not meant to be. The doctor already told them that the insemination might not take on the first try, Lena's been praying for the universe to bless them with a baby. All their friends have children they been for a whole year and nothing's happened yet. Lena does not want her wife to get her hopes up.
