A day at the office

Stef's: POV
Stef was in the car driving home today has been a long day. She wants to go home have a shower eat a little something , Lena will be home two days. She doesn't like it when Lena goes to these teachers conferences
Out of town, Stef knows Lena loves her job as a teacher. She would never try to control Lena's life, that's not her style. Lena's very passionate about her work, Lena was supposed to call her back earlier. Maybe she forgot
Stef tells herself, Stef stops at the gas station to get some gas. Cause she's running low on fuel, Stef knows she's going to have to strengthen up the house. Before Lena comes home Thursday, she pulls into the sheetz
And parks her car at the pump
She exits her vehicle. And heads inside the store to pay for her gas
Stef goes to the back to get a drink
She looks at the selections of soft drinks, Stef opens up the refrigerator and takes out diet coke. Then she heads up to the front, Stef puts her drink up the counter. She tells the cashier she wants eight dollars on pump two, Stef swipes her card
Now she's waiting for her receipt
The girl hands her slip. And exits the store, Stef takes off the distributor cap
And begins pumping the gas.

Lena's: POV
Lena's just waking up from her nap
She yawns. She didn't expect to be so tired, after the conference was over
Lena came back to her suite took a shower. Ate a turkey bacon with lettuce cumbers on wheat bread
With a side of fries, that was the only thing she was able to stomach at the moment. Lena looks at the clock
It was almost six in the evening
Lena turns on the television to find something to watch, she searches through the guide. Lena gets up from the bed a little too fast, she feels dizzy
Like the room is spinning around
Lena sits down on the edge of the bed
With her head in her hands. The doctor warned her about dizzy spells
Lena waits a few minutes before getting up, Lena finally gets back up and heads to the bathroom to relieve herself. She flushes the toilet, Lena washes her hands. She splashes water on her face, Lena looks at herself in the mirror. She notices a few changes in her body, her skin is getting lighter
Her breast is starting to fill out more
Lena lifts up her tank top. And rubs her small baby bump, that's not yet noticable. For the first time in her life
She's actually has to something to be excited about, this baby is a miracle
He or she will be surrounded by love
Tomorrow is the last day of the conference. She's been taking her prenatal vitamins that the doctor prescribe, along with nunsea medicine. Lena dries her face with the hand towel, Lena goes back in the room and lays back down. Today has been a long day, Lena can't wait to return home. On Thursday and share her good news, she falls back to sleep
Lena didn't realize how exhausted she still felt. Lena knew it was her bodies way of telling her to rest, suddenly her phone rings. She looks at the caller lD and sees it's her wife calling
Hello she answers. Hey baby were you busy, Stef says. No l'm just resting that's all how was your day Lena asks
to long and yours Stef States. Busy Lena Stated, babe are you feeling alright Stef asks. I'm just tired that's all, Lena replied. I was thinking when I pick you up from the airport on Thursday we can go out to dinner
Just the two of us, we haven't had a date night in a while. Stef said
I think that's an excellent idea
Lena smiles at her romantic Stef can be at times. How about Bahamas paradise, down the pier Stef responds
Sure baby whatever decided is fine
Lena spoke. Mother called me on my lunch break and wanted to know if we wanted to go on that wine tour on the boat this weekend, Stef said
I thought it was next weekend
Lena answers. No babe it's Saturday
Remember you wrote down in your planner, Lena turns on the light beside the bed. And takes her day planner out her bag, and flips through her book. Shit Lena says to herself
Love you still there, Stef said
Yeah I'm here. I totally forgot all about it, l see in my agenda log now
Lena replied. My love what has you so distracted, you usually remembers these type of things, this is your mom where talking about. Lena rolls her eyes, as if Stef could see her. Yeah I know it's too late to cancel we already paid for the deposit which was two hundred dollars a pop. Lena sighs
We can go and have a great time
Stef says, okay l'm only for your benefit. Lena tells Stef, you always look forward to these festivities
