Lena's POV
Stef and I were at the clinic with the babies. It was for their three week check up, where sitting in the examing room waiting for the doctor to come in. I already undressed them
Cause the nurse check their weight and vitals, they are three weeks old
Stef is holding Melody in her arms
While Colby is chilling in his carrier
I nurse them before we left out
They shouldn't be hungry, we just sat in there. Anxious waiting for the pediatrician to come into the room
Having your mom at the house helps out a lot Stef said, yeah but she doesn't have to. She took some time off from the University, l know you have to go back to work and l appreciate you even if I don't say it much, your important of our children's life. I just don't want them to be spoiled rotten by my parents

Being at our home makes you apprehensive a little bit Lena responds, in the beginning I felt like she was trying to tell me what to do when our babies. I know her heart is in the right place, Stef replied
Dr. Pierce enters and greets us
And asks general questions about how's the twins sleeping any questions or concerns we have
She proforms her routine exams

Dr. Pierce let's us know that Colby and Melody have to get a couple of shots
And then they have to come back in three months. For their next set of immunizations, she leaves the room to get the nurse. Colby is wide awake
Melody can't take her eyes off of Stef
Amanda comes in with a tray of needles and alcohol pads, can you
Lay Colby down on the bed she asks me. I pick him up and does as she asks
I'm gonna make this as painless as possible, she States. Amanda cleans the area where she's going to placed the shots then she injects the needle in Colby's thigh. He begins to cry
And she does the other side. All done
Little one, Amanda states. I hand Colby over to Stef so she could put his clothes back on, she passes me melody. We repeat the same action
Like we did with Colby, Amanda gave
Melody her shots she barely cried
