Monday's were always long
Seeing several host of clients
I slept a little better after talking to Lena. I was just glad she made it safely to Los Angeles, l decided to head to work a bit early than normal
It's hard being without Lena here
Every time she goes out town. I fear she might not come back, l need to tell Lena how l feel. Knowing Lena the way l do, she's going asked me why I didn't come to her sooner. I know there are times when she's not always gonna be around, but Lena is my lover wife and best friend. It just scares me when she's away, l know these last few years things haven't been the greatest. Despite everything we've been through, l wanna call her and hear her sweet angelic voice
That always calms me down. When l'm having a bad day, l'm sitting in my office looking over my schedule for the morning and afternoon. I have a total of eight patients l need to see today, maybe that will get my mind off of Lena. I know she's probably up getting ready for the conference
I don't want to call and disturb her
My first client is new. As l look over her file, this girl has been through hell
I just shake my head, l deal with mostly with adolescence.
I try not to get attached to my clients
And bring my work into our home
It's just their life stories breaks my heart, Lena always says that l love hard and I have a heart of compassion
Some of these cases hit to close to home. Both Lena and I take pride in our jobs, the heart wrenching stories
My patients tell me. Tears me up inside, l decided to go out after work
And have drinks with my close friend
