CHAPTER 3

    YELLOW ROSE AND MYSTERY BOY..

      "Where were you Brother?" Rainier blocked his way by placing hand on the wall. "It's not your concern and I'm not your brother, Rainier." Arthur pushed Rainier's hand away. "Mother was worried about you." Rainier grabbed Arthur's hand preventing him from walking away. Arthur punched Rainier and he collapsed on the ground, Arthur Knelt down on one knee. He grasped Rainier's face and continued, "That blind woman is not my mother and having same father doesn't make you my brother." Rainier tilted his head to the other side. Arthur walked back to his room and slammed the door. Rainier had a long night thinking of what happened.

      Adam realised he was sleeping on the balcony when the first rays of sunlight kissed his charming face. "Oh no Mother will kill me." Adam rushed down to kitchen after washing his face. "My beautiful kind mother.." "Stop it right there I forgive you for sleeping in the balcony, Enough?"Said Florence knowing the intention behind her son's act. Adam kissed his mother's cheek, grabbed breakfast and ran out "Where are you going now?" "To meet Rainier be back soon, Love you mother.." Adam disappeared a ghost.

       Veronica closed her book hearing the name Rainier and peeked through her window to the sight of her brother running away. She wandered in the kitchen for no reason. "You want to leave too? Then leave.." Said Florence raising her eyebrows "No no mother I didn't want to but as you mentioned I have to return my book in the library and take Momo for a walk too.." She kissed her Mother's cheek and ran out. "Wait up for me brother.." She yelled at Adam. "Kids these day she's returning this book and she is walking Momo who is sitting here." Muttered Florence holding up Veronica's book and patted Momo's head.
      Veronica couldn't catch up with her brother, She ambled in the market. "Looking for me..?" She tripped on someone's legs and fell into his hands. Veronica opened her eyes to see a very familiar face smiling at her. "Rainier you scared me again.." "You are heavy." He reminded her she was still in his arms "What- Oh no" She got back on her feet and cleared her throat. "Where is my brother?" She asked just trying to avoid what just happened. "I was about to ask that but as he is missing come with me.." Rainier pulled her hand and they moved forward through the crowd.
       "What do you mean I can't go inside?" "Please try to understand Sir..Future Queen is visiting the Library, So you can't go inside." Adam was having an argument with the Librarian but then a boy pulled his shirt to get his attention. "Come with me.." He pulled Adam away from the crowd. Adam bent down to face him and asked, "What is it boy?" "I- I am Kai and I heard a rumour that you are the crown prince of Miriana..." "I was the crown prince of Miriana, Wait- How old are you Kai?" Adam asked. "I'm fifteen and I will help you to get in the library.." "And why would you help me?" "Because I need a help from you but not now." Kai grabbed Adam's hand and brought him near a ladder to a window. He pointed at the window and continued, "See that window? That leads you to the library.." "Thank you Kai..I will be happy to help you, tell me what you need.." "As I told you not now but happy reading.." Kai smiled at him and ran backwards waving at Adam. "Good Kid.." Adam smiled and turned around staring at the large ladder, "Wish me luck everyone I am going up." Adam started climbing the stairs.

        "Where are you taking me?" Asked Veronica pulling her hand back from
Rainier's grip. Rainier turned around to see Veronica panting all tired. "A little more shortie, come on catch up.." "HEY!!I'm not short.." "What are you four feet?" Rainier bent down and looked at her eyes.." "I am more than five feet.." "Well It doesn't change my opinion right I'm six feet tall." "So what you want me to do." Veronica flicked on his forehead, Which made Rainier step back in pain. They started walking again. "I noticed when you bent towards my face..Wha-what happened to your lips.." "Ah- It's nothing just doing heroic things in spare time so wounds are just usual to me." "Sure, Who am I asking.." Veronica sighed at Rainier's answer. "Stop!" Rainier stopped Veronica from moving and continued, "Now I want you to close those platinum eyes of your's, Senorita.." "I'm not your senori- And my eyes are silver." Rainier covered her eyes with his hands, "Silver and Platinum are both same colour in my opinion AND just keep walking.."
