        Ten years ago,“Ezra!! Don’t go to the water alone, Arthur told to go back-” “I don’t care what Arthur says..” “Just remember I can’t swim..” Neither did Ezra but she was stubborn and curious as always even though she was a ten year old. Agnes was the one who took care of Ezra back then too.“Agnes look I got a-” Ezra disappeared into the waves. “EZRA!! Ezra..?” Agnes panicked and ran to get help.

      A ship just berthed on the shore. It was the ship of Miriana, “Father is that a Kid drowning?” Adam pointed at Ezra. “Guards save the-” His son was not there only his jacket, The king saw his twelve year old boy jumping in to the water to save the kid. “Never mind..?” “Hey...hey kid hold my hand..” Adam tried to reach her hand but she was drowning more, “Forgive me..” Adam dragged her by her hair, held her stomach and swam back to the shore. Ezra was unconscious, The royal physician’s of Miriana helped her breath again. “That was brave Prince Adam..” Minister Haru tapped his shoulder while drying his hair. “I’ve said you a million times Uncle Haru, Don’t call me Prince..Not you..” “Sure.. sure.” They both laughed.

        “My daughter..” Pastor Abnel came running and took Ezra in his arms. “Thank you gentlemen I am pastor Abnel and you are?” “I am Aldrich from Miriana we got the invitation for coronation ceremony.” “King Aldrich it’s my honour..” Abnel bowed to them and continued, “The royal guards will be here soon to escort you to the palace.” He bowed again and turned to leave but Ezra stopped him and got back on the ground. She walked next to Adam and kissed his cheek, “Thank you for saving me, And yes! see you at coronation ceremony.” She waved him goodbye and left.

        “Are you blushing Adam..?” Haru asked teasing the little kid as Haru was too young too to be a Minister he was only twenty five. He was actually from Lorelei and his family is in Lorelei too. He had a five year old son and wife. He was the only friend Adam had in his kingdom “No- No Why should I blush?” “Don’t lie to Uncle Haru kid...You are pulling your red ears to make it stop from moving on it’s own.” Haru stopped after seeing the grumpy face Adam was making at him, “AH- right you are not blushing at all..Come..let me take you to my home and meet my boy.” “Yes!!” Adam was happy all of a sudden and left with Haru.

        “God!! Haru you are home..” Himari, his wife hugged him as soon as she saw him. Adam noticed a little boy playing at the corner of the room. Adam looked at Haru as he was asking permission. “Go on Adam meet my baby.” Adam smiled and ran up to the little boy. “I am Adam and you are?” “I- I am I don’t remember my mother call me ‘Oii’ you can call me that..” The boy smile at Adam. “Just Oii?” The boy nodded. “Are you coming to coronation today?” “What is coronation?” “He is Adam and his name is Kai.” Haru interrupted Adam and Kai. “Kai...You have a good name, Hope I will not forget this name.” “Come on Adam, Let’s go to the palace.” Haru was already at the door waiting for Adam. “I have to go now Kai..Let’s meet up at ceremony.” Adam patted his head and left with Haru.

            “We were waiting for you two..” King Aldrich rushed to Haru and whispered something in his ears. “We should leave immediately then.” Haru turned to Adam and said, “I’ll give you Two hours to wander around..” Adam nodded and left to see Ezra. “You! Short hair!” Adam called Ezra who was sitting by the window. “What? Long hair?” Adam asked her to come down. “Here..Your friend told me you like cheese cake and...” “And what?” “I bought it in the market..She also told you like stars.” Adam opened his palm. “A star locket? Aww Thank you..?” “Oh sorry I’m Adam.” “Thank you Adam but you didn’t had to come all the way here to give this, You could have gave me this at the ceremony.” “No- About the ceremony I’m sorry I won’t make it.” “Why Adam?” “Because..Something important came up.” “So are you going back?” “Yes..I will come back for sure.” “Uh..huh..          “Stop right there.” Haru pulled Adam’s hand to make him stop. “Yaah! Did I teach you languages to do this? And how old are you?” “What did I do?” Asked Adam pretending like nothing happened. “Okay fine.” Adam gave up on Haru’s disgusted face. “So you....heard it all and saw it all?” Inquired Adam bot looking at Haru. “Yes I did, What is your Girl’s name?” Adam gasped in realisation and was about to run back but Haru pulled him back by his shirt. “Two hour is over, I’m sorry Adam we have to go.” “Adam nodded. They left Lorelei before ceremony.

Adam who was still covering his face. “So you kept the locket..” “Of course I did..” Adam was laughing internally because she kept it without knowing his childhood evil motive behind her keeping it.

         “You are telling me that Adam had memory problems in childhood?” Veronica nodded at Rainier. “AH- That’s the reason he won’t even recognise me even after I said my name. BUT! He didn’t forget that girl though.” “Someone’s jealous..” Veronica and Rainier started laughing hysterically at Kai who was making an offended face. “ppsst- June..” Rainier whispered. “What..?” “You know what you would look really beautiful in? My arms.” “Are you sure you were studying medicine aboard? Wait I have a better one, You know what my shoe would look really beautiful in? Your face.” Said Veronica and left to sleep. “Okay.....that went very well.” “Yeah sure you should sleep to take out the embarrassment.” Rainier threw the pillow at Kai who was laughing so hard.

         “Thank you for spending time with me Adam.” Adam walked Ezra back to her home. “My pleasure Queen.” Adam bowed just to make fun of her but she didn’t seem so happy about it. “Hey..hey I didn’t mean to upset-” Ezra suddenly hugged Adam. He was shaking, she suddenly pulled back and apologised. “You should go back in.” Said Adam waving at her. He helped her climb back through the window. “See you tomorrow?” Ezra asked. “Sure just let me know where..” Adam walked back.

         “Why are you not like your brother? So sweet..so polite..?” Murmured Rainier sitting on the floor next to the bed Veronica was sleeping. “No...no it ain’t you right? Yes...I loved you because you are you.” He continued murmuring and removed her hair which fell on her face. He froze for a moment when Veronica turned towards him and held his hand. But she was still sleeping she hugged his hand and murmured in sleep, “Don’t leave Ced.” “......Did she just-” Rainier covered his mouth with his other hand. “She is dreaming about me should I be happy? Of course I should be.” Rainier started mumbling again trying not to wake her up.
           Arthur got out of the Grave which was a secret underground prison. “They..still believe me?” Arthur murmured to himself. He suddenly noticed someone moving and asked, “Who’s there?” Adam paused for a moment. “I know you are there.” Arthur continued. “Sure crown prince, I knew you wouldn’t be that stupid not to catch a trespasser.” Adam moved towards Arthur. “Sure it’s you Crown prince of Miriana.” “Oh- Don’t tell me you thought you and your old uncle destroyed an entire kingdom left the people to starve and didn’t expect the crown prince to return to confront, do you? Not even one? Or ah- you just forgot to kill this one.” “Adam..I..” “Why did you do it Arthur? You tricked my father in to form an alliance and killed half of our people?” Arthur was tearing up and Adam held his collar. “It’s just you and me now Arthur tell me what happened.” “I didn’t mean to do all this..He made me do it.” Adam let go of his collar and asked, “What about Ezra? Why did you accept to marry her when the one you love is...
